Attempted to call in to report a crime that occurred in Mexico by a vacationing Puyallup resident. I had to call back in 6 times, and take down 2 different numbers as their robot phone tree and numbers provided didn't work properly. Finally got a human being on the phone who seemed very uninterested in doing her job or acting like a human being, as the crime happened in Mexico. Easily the worst "service" since 1970's era NYPD. Just pathetic.
Thank ypu officer jendrick and the other officer that was with you for taking the time at the fair to pose for a picture with my grandson. He was so impressed you all had the same cowboy hat on. I just wanted to say thank you for taking the time it left a big impression.
I love the Puyallup police. I called them tonight about a disturbance and they didn't get there as fast as I'd like someone got away before they arrived, but they take their job seriously! Also, I've been pulled over a couple of times and they were very nice and helpful! I had to call them out to my house once because I thought someone broke in and they made sure I felt safe before they left. They checked all the rooms and reassured me that I was ok. Thank you Puyallup police!
Sunday, May 7, 2017 A quality Police Officer Helping the People in Puyallup This Sunday evening at approx.8:00 pm, I drove to the South Hill ARCO gas station located at 4302 S. Meridian to fill up some small gas cans for various yard equipment. When I arrived at the ARCO, driving a vehicle that I had just recently purchased, I hit the door lock button to unlock the rear tailgate door on a Ford Expedition. Unfortunately instead of unlocking the doors, I locked them and promptly closed my drivers door. Locking myself out and my keys still in the ignition switch. When I entered the ARCO , I had noticed a Puyallup Police car parked in the drug store parking lot next to the ARCO. I looked to see if it was still there, it was. I walked over to speak with the Officer in the patrol car. The Officer quickly rolled down his window, so I proceded to tell him what I had just done ,locking myself out. I ask if he would by chance have a slim jim in his patrol car? The Officer told me that they no longer carried them with them. We spoke for a couple minutes while considering my options at this point. I told him that I had one myself back at my house. The Officer ask me where I lived? I told him over on 86th Ave a block North from Rogers High School. To my amazement , he offered to give me a ride to my house and back so I did not have to break a window or take that long walk on Sunday night. I of course accepted his kind offer. I was born and raised in Puyallup. When I was a kid, the population was approx.14,000. Everyone knew each other or who we were for the most part, with many of us personally knowing our Puyallup Police Officers down in the valley. My parents house was only two blocks from the Police Station. Back then, it was not uncommon for one of the Puyallup Police Officers to genuinely help someone in the community with a kind act such as what I received this Sunday night from Officer Pearson. It for me was good to know that the same genuine care , kindness and willingness to help some citizen in a tough spot such as I was in, is still deeply ingrained within the Puyallup Police Dept. and specifically Officer Pearson. Thank You very much. Sincerely Bruce E. Gambill Jr
I'm homeless and was booked for petty theft once and had the jail staff destroy a personal locked bag and I was then taken to Pierce County on 3 felony's, which in turn were dismissed due to illeagle search. All charges dropped for good, yet the jail and Police Department refused to return my pocket cash of $875.77 stating I'm homeless and shouldn't have that much cash on me. I can prove where the money was earned doing lawncare and odd jobs around town yet still denied my money with all charges against me dropped cause they violated my constitutional rights to search and seizure guidelines that the jail staff overstepped their boundaries and broke the law. Then continues to do so by holding my money without probable cause as all charges were dropped without prejudice on order of dismissal and signed by a judge.
Puyallup PD and Pierce County Sheriff’s fabricate on police reports. Everyone should be requesting theirs if they have an interaction. Puyallup PD has also illegally detained, illegally searched under my direct purview. Everyone should also be recording interactions. Especially since it’s apparently too expensive for them to have body/dash cams. I think this only helps them to be corrupt.
Great place, nice officers. they hand cuffed me in a very gentle way. Put me in the car nicely, and even asked how my day has been while they were taking me to jail. In all honesty, I’d love to get arrested by them again!

Thank you to Deputy Turner for keeping my family safe tonight. People are so quick to tell you what you are doing wrong but tonight I have to give the PPD props for doing it right tonight! Thank you.
Just drove by a radar sign on 9th that flashed at us, saying we were going 33mph in a 25 zone... Both the new car and GPS said we were going 26.
