As an anniversary celebration, we couldn't have been more pleased. The service was unparalleled. Amanda, Katrina and Steven were the best. They were there when we needed them and they didn't hover. The food, starting with the appetizer....all the way through the dessert, was unbelievably delicious. Thank you so much for a wonderful experience.
First of all the service was great! Victor and Angel made us feel good! The steaks were a “B”. The Calamari was good with a good presentation! The leafy vegetable side dish should be deleted from the menu! Unacceptable presentation and did not pair with anythingThe asparagus was okay! The whipped potatoes were good! The bone presentation was useless, unless you let us simmer in Augus and a dark gravy with onions to dip the meat in. The food was elevated to 4 stars because of the service! Oh yea, the bread was very good!
This place is worth the time and was a real dining experience. The servers were amazing, and so was my prime rib. One from pur party really enjoyed the scallops that came her meal. She gave me a taste, and it melted in my mouth. I will go there again.Food: 5/5
Food is amazing prepared with native ingredients and presentation is always on point. Flavors are always mind blowing! I had the best calamari I have ever had! Compressed melon salad was absolutely delicious! Servers we very attentive and professional! Atmosphere is very elegant! This is our second time celebrating our anniversaries on our 20th and 23rd. Each time we had great experiences! Parking: Covered free parking
Listen up... if you want to feel like kings and queens come here!!! This was an incredible experience. I went here with my friends for my birthday and the food was extraordinary. We had Wagyu steak that blew our minds. Our servers were the most professional, explanatory, and understanding people ever!! They were so knowledgeable and respectful. It was worth the money and I am so glad we went.
This was one of the worst experiences in fine dining I have ever had. First, I had two servers Just a mess.who didn’t work together at all to communicate with one another. They couldn’t get through the specials. I was very clear about my disdain for anything in the onion family but they had this very pretentious guy come over and tell about some butter that had Shallots in it. I told him that and he left it anyway in case I changed my mind. The corn bisque tasted like I was eating right from a can of corn. Nothing in the dish successfully went together. I ordered a $75 ribeye and some brussel sprouts since most sides had onions in them. Neither were bad but neither were remarkable. I was ignored most of the time. So getting my bill and my leftovers packaged up took a lot of patience. When someone finally ran my credit card, I forgot that they hadn’t brought my leftovers out. I called about 10 minutes later the host wanted me to return without checking to see if the leftovers were still there. He offered to give me a free appetizer next visit instead. I had only eaten a third of my steak so not at all a helpful suggestion. I asked if they could bring it to me and they said no even though it was my waiters fault.
If you're looking for top notch food and unique drinks, look no more! The bar at the PY Steakhouse have some of the most talented bartenders as well as some very creative chefs. Their menus changes with the seasons so you know everything is fresh. The bartenders will entertain you with some one of a kind drinks! Robert and Thomas were awesome! This is by far my favorite place to be! Thank you!
Wow wow wow! loved it, best fine dining in all of Tucson very beautiful and amazing presentation. customer service was superb. My wife and i went out for a special occasion. PY steakhouse definitely made it feel like a special evening. The food was visually pleasing with great presentation. Prime rib was amazing and so was the salmon. The atmosphere was definitely elegant with that fine dining feel. 19 page wine book! Next time somebody ask me for a recommendation for any kind of special night out. I will recommend py steakhouse!
I really wanted to like PY steakhouse more. Visited Tucson and wanted a have a fancier meal, so we booked here and had the 8 course chef’s menu. The meal started out with slight hiccups, which over the course of dinner became progressive more noticeable. Water was brought out promptly, however, it took at least 15 minutes for bread and close to 20 minutes for our orders were taken. Managed to flag someone down to order cocktails which were very nice, but this took a few courses to actually materialize. The bread was good. Butter was excellent, as were the cheesy breadsticks. Service, however, was fairly slow. We started with a couple of oysters which were nice. Next was a beet and citrus salad with goat cheese. Also satisfying. Third was calamari, which was pretty good. Our drinks were finally delivered. Our bread plates were confiscated, but we were left with the bread, butter, and our butter knives. Next was a deconstructed pork belly. A large slice on a plate with tomatoes, tomato jam, and a couple of swipes of avocado with slivers of bread was delivered. It was interesting. Not particularly my sort of thing. We had what was arguably one of my least favorite dishes next. It was endive cooked in dry aged beef fat, pecans, figs, and goat cheese. Mine had an astringent and bitter aftertaste. Didn’t eat much of this. This was followed by butternut squash risotto. The butternut was nearly raw. I do not recommend this dish. I’m not sure I would even consider this risotto. It was missing the richness that risotto usually has. Thankfully, we had an excellently cooked filet next. Well-seasoned, perfect medium rare. Came with a roasted pepper and rather homogenous mashed potatoes. This is, after all, a steakhouse, I suppose. Dessert was next and was a cheesecake and some other sort of cake. Both were a little too sweet for me, but I’ve heard their creme brûlée is excellent. Dinner took use just over three hours. I am not a slow eater. Our server seemed new and unused to service. He did truly try very hard. Perhaps an 8 course meal was a little too much for him. The gentleman refilling water glasses was very diligent. Seats were thankfully comfortable for a prolonged dining experience. I’m not sure if I would go back. Certainly not for a tasting menu. Maybe for a couple of appetizers, steak, and creme brûlée it would be worth another try.
Food is ok. When you have to add salt, it's ok. Service was good, everyone was friendly, "But" when you have to wait so long for Everything, except to sign the check, it's devastating! We were held hostage for 2 hours! Out water glasses were refilled after dessert. Atmosphere was low lit and music nice, but service was extremely slllloooowwww! Please take some lessons from Flemmings Steakhouse and tips will definitely be at 20% or more.
