PYRO'S Fire Fresh Pizza

I loved their thin crust. I dined on a Saturday and the guy making the pizza recommended Olive Oil as my base instead of Red Sauce. I took his advice but had him add just a tad of Red Sauce too. It was delicious. The Salad was delicious as well. Fresh Ingredients. Outstanding Service

Everything was fresh and hot like always. The guy that fixed our pizzas was an Absolute Joy! The only thing was the sweet tea was not sweet at all. I brought it to someone's attention but nothing changed. The sugar packets I attempted to use were hard to the point I had to mashed them up.

The manager of this restaurant does a phenomenal job with customers. Their pizza is delicious and they offer great gluten-free crust. I’m a fan of the build-your-own salads. There are multiple options for just about anyone including kids and any diet gluten free, vegan, keto, and many others. I frequent this restaurant often and love coming back.

Management needs to make some major changes. There was at least 5 employees that I could see when we arrived 4 up front and 1 that was working in the back that would come out to get containers, etc… to clean but the majority of the time we were waiting 40+ minutes there was only a single employee Greg frantically working out front to get everyone their pizzas and check people out at a register with a large pile of order tickets piled up beside it in no order whatsoever. If we had not waited at the register we could have certainly gotten our food for free because it was mass chaos him trying to do everything himself he would have not noticed if we skipped the register. Greg was incredibly embarrassed and frustrated that none of the other employees were helping out and we felt bad for him because he was doing everything he could by himself to get people their pizzas while making sure the existing orders weren’t getting burnt in the oven. No idea where three of the female employees went after they helped make some but not all of the pizzas while laughing and making jokes about Greg working hard after they made an unorganized pile of tickets by the register without a single care of helping out any further or assisting customers. One lady asked a female employee with red hair if they had any lids for the drinks and the said employee turned around away from the customer, and yelled back “nope” as she walked off. I have pictures I wish it would let me add. The only reason I am giving more than 1 star is because Greg genuinely seemed sorry and embarrassed for our experience at Pyros last night although if Greg is the manager then our experience is because he is a poor leader, poor communicator, and the employees do not respect him. We own a business, so I understand the complexity but I would rather start over with new employees that we have to train than allow for experiences like we had last night.

Been to Pyro's twice now. It's a nice place, and not terribly expensive considering the quality of the ingredients, the huge array of options, and the modern atmosphere. It's a lot like Moe's or Chipotle, but with pizza or salad. There are a few of their own creations always available, but most of the time, people build their own meals. Service has been very pleasant both times. Tables and bathrooms are mostly quite clean, and employees are quick to bus empty plates. The first time, I was feeling a little sick to my stomach from spending all day out in a lot of heat, so I only ordered the savory bread bites. They were alright. Not terribly flavorful, but what could be THAT wrong about balls of dough? Marinara dipping sauce was tasty. Most recently, I went with some girlfriends in between classes. I got a snack size pizza with pepperoni and ranch drizzle on top. They listened to me when I asked for light sauce, so that always makes me happy. I could have done with a little more pepperoni, though. The mozzarella was ooey gooey and yummy. This pizza has very thin crust, so don't come here if that's not your thing. It's definitely my thing, though, and I liked the crunch! Be mindful, if you're like me and can throw down when you're hungry, a snack size pizza might not do it on the full factor. Overall, Pyro's is a good option for a quick bite to eat in T-town.

TERRIBLE!!!! Made me feel like I was such a nuisance for getting my pizza wrong. I will correct you when I’m paying for it.That’s not too much to ask. Place was not clean and workers were beyond rude. Do better!

Ordered online and chose curbside pickup which didn't happen. After waiting about 15min I went inside; my order was at the bar under a heat lamp. Pizza was okay. Salad was wilted and awful. Bad experience for my first time ordering here.

Food is great. I love it really!!! But they need better mgmt. Every table inside full of garbage and no where to sit with full line people ordering. I took upon self to just clean off table so that my family and I could sit down. I understand that things are different and most places have no help but this wasn't the case. There were about 5 people behind the counter and 1 lady handing out orders.

My last several visits to the Tuscaloosa store has been terrible. Several visits ago the stove wasn’t working, last visit there was a 12 year old kid working the register. This time was the worst. I stood in line, ordered my pizza and when I did the young lady was almost in tears. She was begging Greg the manager for help. They argued. I went to pay. After 25 minutes I went to check on my order and Greg never made it like the girl who was behind asked. He told me he would make it. After 20 more minutes I asked again. He still forgot to make it. I watched one employee march out the door. I asked for a refund in which I had to wait for ten more minutes. During this time the girl who asked for help told Greg she felt disrespected and she also walked out the door. I hope you can fix this Pyros but I will never return to the Tuscaloosa location.

Pretty good pizza. Turns out there are not real limits on the number of toppings to you can get, so load 'em up.
