Worst school district ever! They don't care about the kids the teachers I experienced are lazy, nosey and disrespectful lying the principals at northwestern such a disappointment the asst principal just don't care and the head principal Mr.Gorge is a pretender he is a walking stereotypical white male in his thoughts toward the minority community that acts like he understands, you can trust him but you can't! he is very deceptive beware of this school enough should have been said when it was only one Hispanic teacher Hispanic teacher one African-American teacher
Excellent treatment of the representative, they work with patience and carefully. Thanks for the amazing Job. GOD bless you all.
By far the worst school district anyone will ever have to deal with my son gets into one fight at school his entire life and gets expelled from the whole RUSD!! With no references to anywhere he could go to continue his education!! System is definitely set up to for the money AND THATS IT!! Epic failure for kids
The district is messed up because because of the people they have working in the district. While lot of liars and money just “disappearing” in this district
They took my daughter out of her school & placed her in another one that is JUST under 2 mileswhich is a 40 min walkso she doesn’t automatically qualify for transportation. They expect my 7 year old to walk 40 mins in rain, sleet, & snow. They lost my form for optional transportation & by the time they found it & processed it they told me the only bus in our area was full. Their only suggestion was that I have my child carpool, with strangers, in the middle of a pandemic! After inconveniencing the families in my area over & over they are little to no help at all and weren’t considerate enough to find solutions for families due to the inconveniences that RUSD has created for those families.
Been around the State and Racine schools are better than most. The people who really complain, think education is a given. You have to have a two way street. The teachers are no different than the other teachers around the State. The ones who say a private school is better, dont really know how teachers get licensed. The ones who complain, Never really had challenges in life. Venting your frustration is not the answer. A solution is the answer. Help become apart of change. Go back to college and get a certification in teaching and become the best teacher RUSD can have.
The type of school district to force your kids to go to school in a snow storm
Overcrowded, disruptive environments, apathetic support staff, lack of behavioral expectations, the worst transportation system I've ever experienced in 17 years of raising school aged children. Our students deserve better, and we as parents need to stand up and demand it.
Phone rings for ever and when its finally answered they are RUDE as hell. RUSD does not work well with other agencies around the area that require information in order to provide services to individuals in the area. When contacting the schools themselves for enrollment information. Weeks pass before a response is received, As a former Student of RUSD. I would recommend that parents look in to enrolling their children in Private Schools. I feel that RUSD and the majority of Teacher I had employed by RUSD have fail my self and many other generation before and after me greatly in adequately educating us, and preparing us for post secondary education or entering the work force.
Lazy. 100% lazy. Hardly had a plan when COVID-19 struck, huge lack of communication. Lousy website, hardly organized. Your child's academics will suffer hard in one of these schools. I recommend Racine Lutheran high or someplace in Oak Creek or Kenosha. This review is coming from a senior student of 2020, I know first hand what attending an RUSD school is like and it isn't the staff of each individual school that's the problemmostly, it's the board of education and their overall laziness and lackadaisical system that makes us students suffer. There's a reason RUSD is referred to as a failing school system. The people in control have no idea how to properly run schools. They don't care, trust me, they really don't care.
