One of the better Rack Room shoes location in the Charlotte area. Staff were friendly and helpful during my visit. Shoes were stocked in both kids section and men’s. They did not have a certain size, I needed for shoes and they were able to order them with FREE shipping. I received the shoes in 2 business days since the Rack Room distribution center is located in Charlotte.
I don't find what I was looking for today bit they do have a great selection of shoes! I also loved that the employees greet you upon entry and wish you well when you leave. The prices may appear a little high depending on your budget but they are a better quality then other places I've been like shoe carnival in my opinion.
Terrible customer service. Kathryn the “team lead” is a disgrace to customer service. Raising her voice, making wild gestures and screaming at me over a shoe exchange. At the very least some additional training needs to be done before allowing someone that incompetent and emotionally unbalanced to continue to represent your brand.
The staff is rude. We have always shopped Rack Room due to the BOGO. We understood the brands that aren’t eligible for BOGO and bought a pair of Crocs, then spent almost an hour searching for a 2nd pair that would be eligible as the 2nd pair only to get to the checkout and find out they weren’t eligible because not only does it have to be one of the off brands but it has to be the lesser expensive pair too- so the $5 higher priced off brand didn’t qualify. So dumb- we won’t be back.
Walked out last night and decided not to spend my money in an establishment that does not value their customers. The sales associate was rude and very condescending at checkout. I don't believe in spending money where people feel they can treat you badly.
The "style" selection men's seems to be quite large. However, finding my size created the realization that size selection is not large. The shoes that I wanted did not have my size. I use plural as I spent quite a bit of time selecting a shoe I liked, only to find ... none in my size. A lady greeted me as I entered the store and offered to help me in a friendly tone. However, when I needed some help, I found a guy who was quite terse.
Went in to buy shoes for my son tonight. We immediately were helped by two gentlemen, they were great. An amazing man with blonde hair helped us through the whole process, sized my son, told us what brands would be best for what we needed and wanted, helped us find everything, and was super cool with my kid. I wish I would have remembered his name because he was great!!! Thank you!
Decent selection of shoes... Always tough finding a good variety of men's size 14 that aren't basketball shoes. Left happy with a couple pair. Employees were friendly and helpful.
I went into this establishment to return two pairs of shoes and exchange another pair. I had a horrible experience with the female associate who I believe was the assistant manager or manager. She was very rude, as well as short with me, and had a unprofessional tone throughout this whole encounter. It made my experience very unpleasant. Me and my wife will not be returning to the this location ever again.
If I could give 0 stars I would. I came into this store where I bought shoes a week prior to exchange them since they were a gift and were unfortunately the wrong size. I looked around and ultimately found two more pairs of shoes. The young girl at the counter was super nice and helpful but she had to get the female “manager” to “help” with the exchange. This is where my pleasant experience took a drastic turn and is the rudest customer service I’ve ever experienced. The female manager asked me 3x for my phone number, then hastily proceeded to tell me I wasn’t a member, she then repeated my phone number back to me, and when I repeated it back to her again she had entered it in incorrectly. She then told me my total and I asked about the coupon on my account and she rudely said there wasn’t one. Thankfully, the male manager was behind her and looked at my receipt and corrected her. I proceeded to thank him for his help. Afterwards, I asked her if that was the 20% coupon and she hatefully told me that the 15% coupon was applied. I told her she didn’t have to be so rude and hateful. So my $120 total went down to $85 which I was appreciative of but I still didn’t get my 20% coupon applied. At this point I was just over the whole situation. However, I should’ve just left and not purchased anything since after I paid she proceeded to sarcastically and loudly tell me “ to have a great day.” I would not recommend this location to anyone simply take your business elsewhere where employees are kind and customers are at least treated with decency. I know I will.
