Yesterday I have experienced very poor customer service at this store. The staff’s attitude was more hell bent focused on putting the shoes baxk to the shelf rather than focusing on the customers. Especially there is one staff that was very rude to a teen girl. The teen girl was trying a new shoe and she was super excited about her buying, but this particular staff came up to the teen girl and told where did you get the shoe from and the girl was so puzzled and before even she tried to respond and the staff mentioned that the shoe should be in the in front row shelf and you need to place it there. I literally noticed that the girl excitement about the buying the shoes was gone and she walked away. The parent was so next right to the girl and the staff should have talked to the parent if he noticed that the girl was placing the shoes on the floor after trying them, but she is not. I felt that instead of talking to the girl in a rude way, the sales guy should have talked to the parent if he felt that the girl was placing the shoes on the floor and leaving them after trying, but she is not. I understand the staff has lot of efforts in placing back the shoes in the shelf but at least should have some decency while talking to the little kids. I decided that this store is not worth going in future especially with this kind of customer experience.
This Rack Room has a good selection of shoes and the facility is clean as it is in a newer shopping plaza. The staff was standing together talking at the registers when we entered and someone did come to ask us of there was something they could do to help after a couple minutes. They were not overly friendly but it also didn't seem like our business was an inconvenience.
It's a nice shoe store. I like to go there to buy my shoes, mostly sneakers and Sketchers. And it's so nice and clean.
If it were possible to give no stars I would. Terrible customer service and rude employees. The man at the checkout is rude to customers and has a horrible attitude. He doesn't want to work with customers and talks down to people. We didn't even get the shoe and size we were informed was available. Shop at other stores and get treated well. No one should be treated so poorly.
Wanted to give a shout out to a wonderful worker who helped me and my family at Rack Room. Avery was wonderful, patient, kind and very knowledgeable! They are lucky to have such a great employee.
I had the worst customer experience of my life. I went to exchange a birthday gift because they were a size too big and the manager was awful. He mistreated me and had an attitude. I had all I needed to make the exchange. I am never rude to any employee as I am a retail employee myself and I know how draining and tough the job can be. He was making fun of everything I said or did. He quite literally ruined my birthday gift because of his rudeness. I didn’t say anything bad to him. I just said “Hope you have a lovely night” to show him some kindness and see if maybe that brightens his day. However, there aren’t any excuses to mistreat a customer that is polite and wants to do a simple procedure. I would never make a person feel like he made me feel. Hopefully I am the first and last customer that has tu put up with his meanness. For reference this was on December 9th, 2022 at 8:00pm in the Room Racks Shoes of Market Center Drive. I hope his supervisor sees this.
I would shop here more often if the two young ladies who worked there didn’t follow and stare me and my sister down anytime we come in! We haven’t taken nor done anything to be followed and I’m pretty sure rack room shoes doesn’t pay them 5 dollars an hour to be loss prevention agents
It was ok. Clean store. I wish they had a better selection of wedges.
I would give them a zero star if I could. This business is prejudiced against Indians. They mistreated an Indian family before me and did the same thing to me. I asked a question and the guy just gave me an attitude by starring at my face, did not answer when i asked 2-3 times. The manager intervened, answered my question. As soon I walked away, the manager told the employee "just smile" in a very sarcastic manner. Question was what I was returning was the higher value of the two on the receipt or not. As it was not clear to me from the receipt. If you have been mistreated by the employees or the management, know that you're not the only one, especially if you're an Indian. Corporate must do something about this as I see there are other Asians who have complained about the same issue.
Star, the manager, was so patient and kind! She walked through all my options to help me walk out with the best deal for me tonight. I appreciated her willingness to be a nice human and deliver excellent customer service.
