Hotel was overall good. Room small, but perfect for NYC standards. Do not expect anything fancy or big! Staff was very nice and helpful with everything. They helped with all the little things and fixed all the little problems we had they were just 2. Unfortunately, they don't have restaurant anymore and the room service is pretty slow because it depends on a different company. They take very long to deliver your order... I would give them a 90 minutes window. However, quality is good! Finally, the hotel is very well located and safe. I loved the convenience of walking on the street and be right by everything I wanted. I would go there again for sure!
Ok but poorly designed. Our room wasn’t ready since check in isn’t until 4pm, so they held our luggage while we went to a food truck to get a bite. The lobby is small and doesn’t really have seating and with Covid, we decided to eat on the benches in the courtyard. The problem is that the sprinkler system has the water hitting the benches so they are always too wet to sit on. Once we checked in, the room was very small typical for NYC but it is very poorly designed. There was no where to actually put the luggage without blocking your walking path around the bed and very minimal closet/drawer space, so it meant our stuff had to be all over the room. Perhaps ok for a night or 2 max, but 4 nights of that was too much. When we arrived the fridge was off and a prior guest’s spoiled food inside. I tried to make tea and get just hot water from the coffee machine, but it came out as dark water, so the machine hadn’t been cleaned. The AC thermostat gives a bright light off in the room and is kinda loud and kicks on and off all night. There is a small gym and elevator wait time was acceptable, but overall I wouldn’t stay here again.
This hotel is in a great location close to many attractions around the city. The room was very small. I have been in other hotels in NYC with more space to walk around the bed. I reccomend traveling light because there is not much room for a large suitcase. The room was very clean and the service was good. I will stay here in my next trip to NYC.
This is a very clean hotel, bathroom was also clean which is very important to me. The room I got had a king bed. Room and bathroom were small so just be aware. The towels were a little old and discolored which I didn't like. However, I would still recommend this place because it's clean unlike most other hotels. It's just a few blocks from Times Square, several restaurants and gifts shops within walking distance. The lady at the front desk who checked me in was pleasant and polite. I would definitely stay here again.
The front desk staff were very friendly and helpful. I like the temperature control settings in each room made my stay very comfortable. They were very helpful with any issues or concerns I have. The only thing I wish was a little different is the size of the room. I like the intimate feel but this weekend I wanted something a little on the big end. The bathroom is beautiful and love the shower.
My husband and I stayed here in December of 2020. We were very happy with our stay. The room and the entire hotel were very clean. We only took a carryon and we're able to fit our thick coats in there because we used vacuum sealed bags. We called before arriving to ask if we could use their vacuum to pack before we checked out and they said yes! So awesome, to help us out like that. We were able to leave our luggage there after checkout since our flight out wasn't until the evening. When we returned to get our luggage, the front desk staff graciously let us in our room to use the facilities since it had not been cleaned yet for the next guests. They didn't have to do any of this for us but were so kind in doing so, they really went above and beyond for us. The location is also great because you are right by Penn Station and in the middle of EVERYTHING. I truly recommend this hotel and will hopefully be going back soon.
Somebody on their staff broke into my room and stole my credit card. This card was hidden inside of my backpack. Be aware of this location has theft issues amongst the staff!!! Also there are room service for breakfast is got some problems in the fact that we ordered breakfast at 9:00 a.m. and it was delivered slightly before noon. When I try to address this with the front desk staff their suggestion was to not order breakfast with them for the remainder of my stay because their vendor has issues with delivering in a timely manner.
We got this hotel cause another one switched us with little notice. But I did like this hotel. Nothing wrong with it. Front desk people were very friendly. Rooms were clean. But small. But I expected that for NYC. Close to everything. I will stay here again when I am in NYCRooms: 5/5
Although the rooms were small, the hotel was clean. Good points: Ample staff to assist you with your needs. Security was more than adequate. Not so good: A bit pricey, for maid service to be every other day.
The room was nice aesthetically speaking. The toilet in our bathroom didn't work for most of our stay and while looking for the remote we found a condom and 3 packets of soy sauce behind the bed. Obviously doesn't have the best cleaning standards, a little scary to think about in general but especially now during covid room 1102 in case someone wants to do some better cleaning Location was convenient, staff was pleasant, overall wouldn't stay here again unless I absolutely had to.
