This is an extremely overlooked destination! This museum was great! The staff were some of the kindest people I've met and were very patient and loving with my kids. It's not just a house tour, this place is slam full of North Carolina history. I highly recommend a visit and encourage a donation because the whole visit is completely free!
Not only is this a gorgeous house but there are many really cool relics in it. The older gentleman that took us around both houses and the out buildings really knew his stuff.
