Welcome to Rafter D Ranch, a full service horse boarding facility with Feed Store open to the public. We host Gymkhanas, Barrel Races, Clinics and more!
Rafter D Ranch is a family oriented full service boarding facility with many options to choose from that best fit the needs of you and your horse. In the main and front barns we have box stalls, and stalls with runs. Many of these are double wide stalls providing your horse plenty of room to move around while having the shelter and benefits of an enclosed stall. Shavings are provided and stalls are cleaned twice daily except Sunday. We also offer a "mare" motel with pipe stalls and runs. These too are double wide and cleaned daily except Sunday. Many people like the extra large outside paddocks which accommodate two horses. Shelters are provided in each paddock and these are cleaned three times per week.
We also offer pasture boarding for geldings only in our large grass pasture. Horses are fed daily.
We also offer several hay/feeding options as well. Quality alfalfa and grass/forage mix is available and you may choose which you would like fed for breakfast and dinner. Lunch is available for a modest fee.
Rafter D Ranch is proud to have 3 nice arenas (2 outside and one covered) as well as 2 round pens for working your horse. Lights are available for night riding in the indoor arena which is really nice during the hot summers! The arenas are watered and worked regularly to ensure the best footing for your horse. Two grass paddocks for short term turn out are also available to our boarders.
Rafter D Ranch has two gymkhana series each year with daily high point awards and series end buckles and prizes.
We also host the local National Barrel Horse Association District 8 Races at our facility as well as our own Jackpot Barrel Races.
We have had several well known clinicians come to our ranch offering a wide range of clinics from Barrel Racing to Working Cow Horse.
