Rainbow Montessori School Inc. started out in the house of the founder’s, Shereen Gendron. The small class of just a few children quickly grew.
This first, small, Rainbow Montessori class was learning the Montessori Method from Mrs. Gendron’s converted livingroom. A true Montessori, albeit it small, class, learnt by exploring the five areas of Montessori.
Upon growth, RMS moved to Pinecrest Rd., where it shared premises with the Britannia United Church. The spacious, open concept lower level was transformed into a bright, sunny class. In no time, a new addition of a Toddler class took place. An Elementary class followed soon after.
