2 stars is being generous! Arrived at hotel to check in and the front desk clerk was not very presentable, in fact he looked like a lost cast member from the movie deliverance. I just credited this to night shift , while walking to the room I almost stepped in a puddle of vomit in the parking lot, and noticed another about 10 feet away. At this point I'm starting to regret my decision as I usually use holiday inn. Get into the room and it smells like stale vomit and cigarette ashes. Keep in mind this is supposed to be a non smoking room.... I called the front desk and was told all the other rooms were booked. So I called 2 other hotels in the area they were also booked. So I was stuck, I tell you people the photos are deceiving the front desk staff is sub par at best.... There are far better places for the money.
The hotel is really deceptive from the road; it looks like a place you may not want to stay. It looks like they are possible under construction. HOWEVER..... My wife and I were pleasantly surprised with the reality of this hotel. They have the best prices in relation to their immediate competitors hotels; this was a good start. Mike, the general manager, took my initial phone call and greeted me upon checkin. He was very personable and informative of surrounding places to eat including their own food on the premises. The room was a nice room i.e. microwave, mini fridge, flat screen and was unexpected given the curbside appeal. We ate at the on-campus facility and the food was decent. The room was clean, neat and definitely NON-SMOKING. Again, we were pleasantly surprised by the premises, service, and prices. Five out of Five for us.
Do Not stay here!!!!! We didn't get the room we reserved, which was non smoking. When they switched us to a non smoking room it was more like "less smoking" room. I found a nice surprise of a bag of dirty socks and who knows what else! If you don't mind smoke, dirty laundry left in your room, and well any other surprises, this is your place! Good Luck.
clean,quiet, flat screen T.V. microwave and mini fridge. I really enjoyed my 4 night stay,the manager is very nice, I came in at 11 am and check in is not till 3pm, my room was ready. Also the restaurant is very good, I recommend the Ramada
Took a motorcycle trip from San Diego to Atlanta to visit my daughter. Stopped to ask when the restaurant would be open. Waited 5-10 minutes while attendant at desk helped someone else. When their talk turned to small talk without the person at least acknowledging my presence I left. I know I was a bit dusty after riding 300 miles but a motel is in the business of servicing travelers. Didn't bother to ask about rates if that was the type of consideration I could expect. Found a Motel 6 where the staff was more then helpful. Service is the key to a successful business!
Thanks Mike for the memorable stay at Elk City. You are the best host. Room was superb. I was there to visit Elk City Motor-Cross Speedway and find the motel nearby. I will recommend this hotel to all my friends and relatives. I will look forward to stay at your hotel again.
It had been a very pleasant stay out here. One might get better quality and facilities but I'm really impressed with the services they provide. Anyone who owns a hotel will surely like to have Mike as there manager, who is always available to assist the customer.
Low budget price. No many guests, things in rooms are dusty. Breakfast in a Café nearby was excellent. Run down hotel! Not what you expect when you hear the name Ramada.
Was pretty good. The hotel it's self is out dated, not what I expected for a Ramada. The breakfast at the cafe was great, the rooms where not too bad but not great. The staff was amazing.
Not fancy, but friendly, clean and comfortable. Have stayed here many times. Also enjoyed the breakfast.
