I arrived in town and had trouble with my phone, so I drove to the Motel 6. Peter was the clerk who assisted me. He was professional, polite and very helpful. I was able to get the last available room for the night. Although it was expensive, and more than I wanted to pay, over $200. the room was a single king bed and had recently been remodeled and was very clean and comfortable.
Peter and Sandy were excellent and attentive. Rooms were spotless! It’s a bit of a run-down building, but they are going through renovations and the rooms are very updated with nice beds and bedding. Wall-mounted AC kept us cool all night. Thanks!Rooms: 5/5
Not my usual choice but after a super long drive, we just needed a place to sleep. Stephanie was personable and efficient, and check in process was quick. Room is very clean, it says pet friendly and no carpet so I’m glad no lingering odors. Hotel overall could use a refresh of paint, maybe it’s slowly being done.its late so I’m not familiar with location.
Stephanie helped us check in and found us a ground floor room so we didn't need to carry our things upstairs we were moving so head lots to carry in. She let us park our trailer in front of the office and kept an eye on it all night. She was so friendly and knowledgeable. She was able to tell us which restaurants were still open at our late check in time. The beds were comfortable and the rooms were clean, had a fridge and big tv. Not fancy - just what we needed for a night of rest on our long trip at the right price.
Peter had a smile on his face. He was as kind as could be. He got everyone taken care of as fast as he could and did a great job doing it. The room looks great to me. The next time I am in Ely I will definitely be staying here. Hopefully I get to deal with Peter again because he was very fun to be around.Rooms: 5/5

Stephanie was very nice and very helpful! The service was great. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable and we slept very well. Definitely a good spot to rest, and we could park our car right in front of our door. A great spot for a sleepy traveler :Rooms: 5/5
We experienced some car issues while traveling across the country and were very happy to find this newly renovated Motel 6. I can’t give enough praise to the GM, Peter, who was beyond accommodating to us and our two pets. 5-star customer service all around! I would recommend anyone to stay here.Service: 5/5
We stayed in Ely, NV on the way out and the way back, and had a completely different experience each time. The first night, Jake took over a half an hour to check us into our room and never did make it down to fix the new TV set in our remodeled, still Motel 6ish room. On the way back, Peter was very efficient and kind and came down right away and fixed our TV set. The room seemed much nicer, and we had more controls on the air conditioner, so didn’t need to wake up every time. It turned itself on and off during the night. Maria was incredible and treated us like her best oldest friends. Food & drinks: Peter offered to recommend a local restaurant.
Newly renovated, like new rooms. Excellent customer service, got us everything we asked for. Beds are a little stiff, but it's a place to lay your head, and hang your hat.Rooms: 4/5
