Proximity to the airport was great, and the hotel is slightly dated but not overly aged. The person working at the front desk seemed irritated by the fact that she had to do her job. At check-in, we were not welcomed, just told "ID and credit or debit card." Then, when handed back the cards, she said the room number and floor and pointed the direction to walk. There is no sense of customer service with this person, which seems to be a common comment in these reviews. This was not just at check-in, either. The attitude seemed to be the same when later asking questions about something else. There was a real sense of not wanting to be bothered. At first glance the rooms are nice, at a closer look they need work. Wall paper in the bathroom was separating from the wall, and the ceilings in the bathroom need a cleaning so many dead bugs. There are no smoking signs on all the doors, but the floor I was on reeked of Marijuana. I was able to get ice on our floor, but the vending machine was out of order for drinks. I went to two additional floors looking to get a bottle of water, and the other floors were out of water and other various drinks. I would recommend getting drinks outside of the hotel. One good thing about this hotel was the little restaurant inside. Good food, good staff, and we were quickly served after ordering. If it weren't for this little place, I would have rated this hotel with 2 stars.
We picked this place because the price was great and it was close to the airport. Be advised they have one shuttle to service 4 Wyndham properties so while you're standing for 30 minutes at the airport waiting other hotels will cycle by 3 times. The shuttle drivers were great. Front desk service was to be expected of a 2 star hotel. Would have given it 3 or 4 stars because of the price but the hotel and room reeked of weed and we got out of there as fast as we could in the morning. The shuttle drivers saved them from a 1 star rating.
Staying here for 2 nights after a long distance flight. Rooms are big. Good views. Shower is dodgy. Needs a new washer. Downstairs restaurant serves delicious omelet.Rooms: 5/5
This hotel used to be my go-to for early flights from SeaTac. Unfortunately and I’m going to blame management during my checking, the front desk was run by a very hectic employee who was trying her hardest but had to leave her position twice that I could see because the key cards weren’t working, to assist customers. There was no one to help her. I give her a high 5 star for dealing with everything. That being said…the key cards do not work, the bathroom was disgusting look on top of the shower ledge that was black. I’m short so I wasn’t looking for it, it was just gross and the toilet wouldn’t stop running after flushing. Wyndham, I’ve stayed in quite a few of your properties and this one is an embarrassment. Either sell or put some money into this property and for the love of all that’s holy promote the front desk girl who worked on 8/29 at 4:30pm. And fire your current manager. This visit was an absolute joke and I’m leaving hours earlier because sitting at SeaTac is more desirable that hanging out in my gross room.
I love the lady at the front desk she’s very nice and sweet and helpful when we needed it since this was my first time staying in a hotel myself as well as the fact we got in at one in the morning. Manager who checked us out was nice as well. Love how they deal with rude people Rooms: Our room was very clean and nice, well made and ready for us when we got in so late
The clerk at the front desk said that my passport name did not match the booked name, so I was not allowed to check in. But I checked my booking details and my passport name, and they all match. And I've never had this problem booking other hotels. I later contacted Expedia's customer service, only to be told that the staff at the front desk said they wouldn't accept me and that even if I wanted to book a room on site again, it wouldn't be allowed. I felt that the front desk staff was racist and rude and rude to me when they saw that I was an Asian face. I am a student from Asia who was happy to visit Seattle, but when I arrived at this hotel, I didn't expect to spend the whole afternoon dealing with this problem. Later, I successfully settled in another hotel next to this hotel, and there was no so-called name inconsistency problem at all. I firmly believe that I was racially discriminated against, which was a great insult to me, and I was very sad to meet such service personnel, which was a shadow for my whole life.
The Ramada is clean, the rooms were spacious and had a kitchenette area. The location is great, just a short bus ride from the airport. Note that luggage storage venue and after tour check in/out is NOT allowed. This was very disappointing for us as we had been told by staff member the night before that we could leave our bags in the morning before we checked in. Food & drinks: The Ginger Palace offers That and Vietnamese dishes as well as American breakfast food.
The room was comfortable overall, but was located over a garage door that opened and closed often. When I asked at the front desk if we could be moved the lady was extremely rude and did nothing to look into moving us even though it was apparent the hotel was no where near full. Rooms: The beds were very comfortable. Walkability: Nothing much within walking distance. The hotel did offer shuttles to the airport and downtown area
