I have been taking my dog Leo here for over 2 years now, and the staff as well as the doctors have always been very kind and informative. Whenever there is an emergency or Leo is feeling sick, I have been able to get an appointment right away or the next day. With Covid they have been taking precautions through the use of curbside appointments. Recently they have been allowing one person to go inside as long as you are wearing a mask. The appointments are also very quick and you aren’t spending a lot of time there as well. They are also very resourceful if you have any questions or concerns regarding your four legged companion as well!!
Have had all 3 of my dogs here for for the last couple of months. Staff is really nice and on top of things. However, sometimes the Drs seem rushed, like they don't have time for you or the dog that they are examing, but very nice about it.
Thank you Danielle for always taking such good care of our Toto, she always looks amazing and she just Loves Seeing you! You are very important to us, we do not know what we would do without you as Toto's care giver and Groomer, Thank you Danielle! Also, Dr. Kumar is an Amazing Veterinarian and I know Toto is in Good Hands. Staff is wonderful too!
The people at the front desk did their best to help me but the doctor refused to sign a simple document stating that our dog a new patient to this vet had been vaccinated for rabies. We needed the document to register for a local dog park. Randhurst has every document from our old vet including rabies documentation so… this one is a real head scratcher. The lady from the front desk who helped me was very nice and tried her best. Clearly the doctor is the problem. They are lying in their response below that they didn’t have all the info they needed. It was a quick response too so I’m guessing this isn’t the first time they’ve had to come up with something quick to save face on Google Maps.
I have transferred to a new vet because I moved and have been waiting over a month for them to give my new vet hospital my pets medical records for her prescriptions. She has severe asthma and normally takes two inhalers twice a day and has only had one for a month now because this practice and doctor refuse to essentially do their job. Figured people would want to know what they getting into by using this practice, do yourself a favor, go somewhere more reputable.
Called on weekend with urgent need and they got us right in! I really appreciated that and service was great, on time, and hopefully our dog is on her way to getting over possible UTI. I love Dr. Kumar, and other Dr. Hartman was very pleasant and professional. The staff also was very helpful handling my requests to send notes to insurance and getting her right in. Thank you once again, Wilson family.
I brought my dog in for a sensitive matter, and was greeted by the front desk staff. After that my visit was as unfriendly and uninfomative as can be. The vet tech did not even greet my dog and seemed very nervous which my dog picked up on. Then Dr Hartman came in and seemed like he was bothered by our visit or having a bad day or something. He was as unfriendly and dry a vet as I've ever met. And he gave me absolutely no explanation for what was going on with my dog other than "come back tomorrow and we'll do a urinalysis because I don't know what's wrong with him." Not sure I'll be back unless we can see Dr Kumar who is always booked.
I chose Randhurst Animal Hospital about 15 years ago because I wasn’t satisfied at a few other vets in town. We love Dr. Kumar!! He is so kind to my family as well as my fur babies. My new kitten had chronic renal disease. After meeting with a specialist elsewhere, their only suggestion was to flush her kidneys for an absurd amount of money, Dr. Kumar said don’t do that, I have an idea. He put my baby on a daily pill that was inexpensive & not invasive. My kitten lived a few more years comfortably & happy! Dr Kumar has continued to treat my other dog & two new dogs since, all the while checking in on how my human children are doing as well! Did I mention, we LOVE Dr. Kumar! All the rest of the staff are top notch as well. Very kind & professional! I have referred several other family & friends to this practice & they have all been very satisfied too!
They were not caring or considerate towards my animal or me. Very cold and mean actually. There is a reason they are always dead when I come in I found out! Would NEVER go back to this horrible place! Please don't make the same mistake I did and take your beloved animal here!
Dr. Kumar did not listen to a single thing I said. I came in a few weeks ago for my dog to get shots and he also started limping a day before this appointment. He asked me what I fed my dog. I told him, and because he had never heard of it before it's a very good food btw and was recommended by my previous vet, he told me the issues were with his food. I told him my dogs allergies I learned from the Spectrum vet allergy test, and he told me that a test like this doesn't exist and my dog is actually allergic to chicken. When I told him my dog has been on a chicken diet for over two years with no issues since removing the ingredients the allergy test said my dog was allergic to, he just kept saying it was the chicken?!?!?! This doctor does not practice based on science; he only practices based upon person bias. As I was trying to explain it, he totally disregarded the science and my observations as my dog's mother. He gave me a joint pill for my dog, but he is still have issues and they have worsened. I now have to go to another vet because I cannot stand to be condescended and disregarded like that while my pet's health goes ignored. I know I do not practice pet medicine, but I would say neither does he. I will say the vet tech I worked with was wonderful!
