Dr. Durrani was rude and no help at all. I know I’m over weight but did you really have to tell me that as soon as you came in the room? And a few more times after that. I came in for hip pain. Never really ask about when or what kind of pain. Just did a few exercises and gave me medication and that was it. I’m finding another doctor. One who takes time to talk and ask questions and is not so rude.
I know a lot of people dislike this place. But Erin Poarch is truly a gem. I’ve had chronic shoulder pain for almost 3 years and MRIs kept showing up with nothing. She has never given up on me and takes time out of her schedule to work with me when she doesn’t have to. I appreciate her so much and anyone who needs help with orthopedics should see her.
I have been seen by Dr. Sisco and Brian, PA for a broken ankle. The care I've received over the past 2 weeks has exceeded my expectations. First, the front desk staff is friendly and this practice actually sees patients at scheduled time! It's refreshing to go to a medical appointment scheduled at 2:45 and be called to exam room at 2:45. Most of my visits have been spent with the wonderful staff: Maggie, Cassie, and Kim have been great to work with. They are caring and professional. If you need orthopedic care, this is the place to go!
This office has a friendly and welcoming environment. I had called early morning to schedule an appointment and was able to be seen that same day in the afternoon. Thank you Rebecca for your help, you are the best! I enjoyed the staff and Erin Poarch, PA. She was very helpful at explaining every detail she noticed in my x-rays. It’s good to have Doctors that can make you feel better by the end of your visit. Not to mention the discount! :
I was with a senior friend with a knee injury. I go as an advisor and to remember what she cannot. They are very professional but also personable and kind, assisting and asking if either if us I am also a senior needed help. The Dr associate was intelligent, answered questions, reassuring. He reiterated several times, as my friend became upset with the probability of surgery she is in a precarious state of health yet he remained calm, and reassuring.
Had an appointment for my daughter that has been suffering with back pain for the past 7 years. The nurses were nice but check out and the doctor were totally off. The doctor literally stayed in the room less than 5 minutes, glanced at the X-rays and said she was fine. He just prescribed meds and told us to come back. At check out I asked the check out lady basic questions she said she didn’t know and didn’t even try to get them answered. The doctor didn’t even touch my daughter, no type of examination at all! We are not going back!! You can tell he doesn’t care for patience he probably just sees us as numbers on his appointments. So disappointed! Do not waste your time or money.
I had been dealing with severe neck and nerve pain for 2 and a half years. I went to several other Doctors and offices, when I came to Randolph Orthopedics, They acted like my life and pain mattered. The entire staff, as soon as I walked in the door, were trying to help me. Dr. Durrani looked over my previous films and right away said we need to get you fixed up. They scheduled my X-rays, my MRI and inside a month had me scheduled for my surgery. Now I'm not going to lie, I was extremely worried I was making a mistake, because all the others I'd seen, said the surgery may help and it may make things worse. I checked in to the Hospital on August 1, 2022, I had about a 3.5 to 4 hour surgery and when I woke up, I felt the best I had in a long Time. I had about a day of recovery time in the Hospital there in Asheboro and They sent me home. Folks, I haven't had pain or numbness in my Neck, Shoulder or hands since I went in for the surgery. I didn't take 1 dose of anything for any pain except 2 Tylenol twice for head aches, and I was back at work in 2 weeks. For the record I had Anterior Cervical Discectomy, I had 2 damaged Disc removed, several bone spurs cut and shaved and 3 Vertebra fused together. Today Sept. 1st 2022 is 4 weeks since my surgery and I feel like a new man. Thank you so much to all the staff and especially Dr. Durrani for helping me get my LIFE back. If you are hurting give Randolph Orthopedics a call....
I do not even know where to begin. This place is a JOKE. I had surgery Monday and have been calling everyday sometimes twice a day for Kim to call me back about my pain meds it's Friday! She told me she would send them over to the pharmacy. She LIED. ITS NOW after hours and I will be miserable all weekend. Horrible horrible horrible place.
My first visit was very disappointing, the Doctor I had was "Dr. Sisco." I highly recommend if you do decide to go here or need to, that you change doctors immediately. "Dr. Sisco" is very rude, he does not let you speak much, when trying to explain anything to him he will cut you off. He rushes you into answering questions, im sure he makes everyone feel uncomfortable. He shows no concern in you as a patient. It is as if the patients are a waiste of his time. He seems very unhappy with his career choice as if he looks down on individuals as if they are below him. I feel this is a big deal that needs to be addressed as to all the other reviews I have read relating to Dr. Sisco, and other doctors at this location, with similar or exact complaints.
My experience here was wonderful! My toddler fractured her arm after a fall and despite the mom-stress of that situation, everyone we encountered at Randolph Orthopedics was wonderful. We saw Kyle who was great with my little one. The ladies at the front and checkout desks, the CMAs that roomed us, the girls who took X-rays and casted were friendly and efficient. Debbie was delightful as well - she was understanding and accommodating when we came in for what we thought would be a cast removal but turned into another week or so in the cast. She helped us figure out how survive a beach trip with a toddler in the cast. Absolutely recommend this office.
