Went here with friends to unwind after going out for my birthday dinner. Loved the cozy atmosphere as well as the prompt and attentive service. Gotta say one of my new favorite drinks is the Bombay Mule.
Very good selection of cocktails, really nice setting and very friendly staff. Did not check out the food options I only went there for some drinks, but was very pleased with the house cocktails and the quick and helpful service. The price of drinks is reasonable for NYC, as one would expect in such a popular area. Seats are very comfortable.
We absolutely loved this bar!!! The main reason was the barman, a 50-60 ish, from European ancestry. He was very nice to us, very patient and really, really friendly. Also a huge professional who prepared delicious cocktails and all sorts. If he is there, it is absolutely worth going!!
If I had to give a review on atmosphere alone, I would give this place five stars. But I happen to be there during a conference, and the waiter seem to be absolutely overwhelmed. It was not his fault, I imagine it was just the number of people that showed up at one time however since our conference is an annual event and they must have it in their calendar for the past 20 years that's really not an excuse. It isn't wonderful place to sit and have a nice quiet conversation with people while you are sitting in midtown... The drinks are a little expensive but that is to be expected
Good place to stay after dinner and a long walk around.Service: 5/5
The food was reasonably priced for having an upscale bar feel. The food was good, but nothing spectacular. It was more so a small spot to rest our feet and re-energize. There was definitely ageism bias here towards us. We are two young people in our mid 20s to 30s and it took a server probably 30 minutes to take our drink order. We were dressed nice enough to be there, while there were retired couples wearing blue jeans being served instantly. They assumed we weren't eating and never came back to us. We then had to flag someone down again to take our food order. The servers were pretentious and rude for the most part. They truly deserved no tip but of course we still left one.
This place is trash, we ordered a glass of Veuve Cliquot champagne and they poured a glass of Ruffino Prosecco and brought it to us. After one sip we told them this isn’t champagne and they argued with us as if we don’t know? Also, they have a bottle of Hennessy XO that’s filled with Hennessy VSOP. My Dad ordered a drink and clearly knows it isn’t XO. This place is very sketchy please don’t come here.
I came here to grab food. I was really interested in the R54 Burger, but it was very mediocre. I asked for it medium with no mushrooms; first time it came out it still had mushrooms, second time it came out the burger was totally well done, no pink at all. The flavors were all bland. The cheese, bacon, bun, fries, etc tasted like bland versions of those ingredients. We also got pepperoni flat bread which was much better in comparison. Overall wouldn't recommend for eating, especially for the price.
This is a wonderful bar. Windows overlooking the street, yet very quiet. Large enough to host large groups, but manages to not get too loud. The bartender working knew how to make drinks to perfection. Definitely worth a stop even if you're a local not staying at the Warwick Hotel
Food was not good at all. Tasted like "hotel" food. Drinks were decent. Service was not great. There was only 2 other customers and could never find our waitress. We had to get up to get our own water from the bar. Would not eat here again. Maybe stop in for a drink.
