We had an absolute blast. Not only was the act of escaping the room fun, but the owner, Aaron, who guides you through the adventure, was a great guy with tons of personality and a fantastic sense of humor. The scenario we played was one where my partner is captured in a cage literally handcuffed in a cage and I had to, not only free them, but escape the room before the villain returns. It wasn't too hard or too easy and the variety of types of puzzles/clues was very entertaining and satisfying. I highly recommend this experience and fully believe it was worth every cent.
I brought my daughter and her friends here for her birthday and we had a fantastic time! Aaron, the owner, made us feel welcome right away and was very helpful and funny! We did the kidnap room and it was challenging, but a lot of fun! The kids want to go back and try the other room soon! Thanks for a fun time Aaron - we have been talking about it all night!
Host was fabulous! Rooms were great! So creative, hard enough for adults and kids alike! We had 2 groups of 8 in separate groups go in 2 different rooms at the same time and see who could escape the fastest... Such a fun night! Would highly highly highly to anyone looking for a fun night or a group looking for team building event. Will take my teens for a birthday party and Girl Scout troop back for sure! He is expanding upstairs with more rooms opening very soon too! Excited
In short, it's okay. If you've done other escape rooms and have experienced some really intricate, high-quality adventures with complex puzzles and electronic componentsWicked Escapes & Boda Borg spring to mind...then this place will underwhelm you. If you're new to such things and are looking for something local and fun to do, go for it! For us - we didn't get to meet this 'Aaron' that everyone else raves about. We're pretty sure our guide was a part-time teenager - he barely spoke and didn't really know what to suggest to us for hints we had to guide him through what we already did. I don't really hold that against them though, I think we were the only group booked for that day, so I get it. We did 'Kidnapped', and room itself is pretty basic - the puzzles are all really simple in terms of complexity, which is not to say all of them are easy. Some were fairly difficult, though mostly because they didn't make a whole lot of sense. Everything ultimately came down to locks and keys, which are fine as a support but really don't feel like they should be the primary driving feature. The decorations were largely sticker-based, which seems a bit funny as it would be pretty easy/cheap to find used lumber and make the inside look like an actual shack. I'll likely still come back to do the other room at some point. It's still a fun little activity to do, and we live right up the road so it's easy, but I wouldn't let all the raving five-star reviews get your expectations too high.
I went a couple of weeks ago for my friends birthday and we had a blast! Not only was it great to find this hidden gem near us, but Aaron was so nice. He really made us feel comfortable about everything and assured us that we would figure it out. Total Confinement definitely puts your intelligence and team work skills to the test. I HIGHLY suggest anyone to come here. I'm going again, that's for sure!
My team and I had the best experience at Total Confinement! Aaron was awesome. Super fun yet professional hard to pull off..... We split into two team - Kidnapped and Catch Me If You Can. I highly recommend this to EVERYONE, young and old. I will absolutely go back and hope to do at least two rooms next time!
I took my teenage daughter and her friends to Total Confinement for my daughter’s birthday. Aaron was the best host. He greeted us at the door and was so friendly. The girls had an awesome time escaping the Kidknapped Room. I would definitely recommend this place for a birthday party, girls night out, team building event, etc. So so fun!!
I just got out of there, I did it for my birthday. I absolutely love it! I did the kidnap one and it was super fun, it was mentally challenging which I liked. Aaron was amazing, I would definitely recommend this place if your looking for a challenge. My friends and family finished with only 19 seconds left!!! Loved this place.
This place is a good time! My work crew and I decided to do this as a team bonding experience and I'll admit I was skeptical about it, but then Aaron I hope I spelled it right made everything fun off the bat. We did the Kidnapped room and walking in there I'm like, no way we getting outta here. But my team was and with some clues from Aaron we got out of the room. Highly recommended for an group that likes to think and work together as a team. Aaron was awesome. If I could 10 stars I would!
I BEYOND loved this. Was my husbands birthday. we enjoyed this. Aaron is hilarious and warm, his family is lovely. I felt like family immediately and cannot wait for the new rooms. We talked about it all night, and planned group outings we intend to host here. If you're looking for team building exercises? THIS IS THE PLACE. I wish them all success.
