Coffee is a passion of ours. I spent a lot of spare time on deployments coming up with ways to get my coffee fix. Christy's passion for coffee is unmatched and she worked at a well known coffee shop just for the fun.
We are a coffee company founded on traditional military family values where Honesty, Loyalty, Respect and Dedication are the norm. Christy, born the daughter of a Drill Sergeant, got her love of coffee from her father. She loves coffee and so it is no surprise that when her best friend asked her to come work at a well known coffee shop in Clarksville, TN, she did so just for the fun of it. I on the other hand, developed my love of coffee while in the Army. In 2003 on my first Deployment to Iraq I had to come up with many ways to get my coffee fix. It wasn't easy. Upon my retirement from the Army we had some bumpy roads but when the dust settled we were here at Ravenwood Farm. I built a coffee station in the sun room so Christy and I could enjoy the many different types of coffee she had learned to make. Soon she began experimenting in making her own coffee flavoring. I had taken up wood working and we started setting up a booth at The Mill on Saturdays. Christy brought her syrups out and people liked them and we came up with the idea to start making coffee at the booth. It didn't take long for Christy's coffee to surpass the wood working. We were pleasantly surprised when The Mill invited us to help expand and incorporate a full time coffee shop at The Mill. So, we are proud to share our coffee passion with the community that we have grown to love.
