I am originally from, and currently living in Grand Rapids, Michigan. In 2003 I moved to Muncie, Indiana to attend Ball State University’s College of Architecture and Planning where I studied sustainable design, alternative building methods, and received my master’s degree in architecture. It was during this time in school and working with a friend deconstructing old homes that I fell in love with Muncie and the immense potential hidden beneath the decay. While tinkering with and trying to find new uses for the materials we reclaimed, I discovered a passion for furniture making. Working with these old and forgotten materials was just one way to show the beauty that was hiding just beneath the surface.
Today here in Grand Rapids, re.dwell serves as my outlet to design, tinker, and experiment with these materials and methods.
Custom handcrafted furniture built from reclaimed materials. We supply both commercial and residential clients with custom furiture ranging from Conference tables to coffee tables, reception desk to home office desk, bar tables to dining table, and everything in between.
