The Real BBQ and More is a family-owned BBQ restaurant, specializing in serving top quality foods, prepared with care and love. Our goals and processes require us to obtain wonderful quality meats so you, your family, and your friends can enjoy a meal prepared as if you all are valued guests in our home. This includes slow-cooked meats over a real pecan wood for smoking the ribs, chicken, and turkey as well as our sausage which is made from brisket. We also hand-make the side dishes with you in mind. So please enjoy the food as much as we enjoy the preparation.

I'm not really a BBQ fan and don't eat it often! But the food here is delicious!!!!!! I have had them cater food for my office staff twice and eaten lunch here several times and the food is always on point! Many years ago I picked up a catering order and the BBQ sauce was accidentally left out of the order. I didn't realize it until I had made it back to work and my staff began eating. When I called back to let them know I didn't get the barbecue sauce the owner drive to my location to bring me the BBQ sauce!!! I was impressed!!!! YOU CAN'T ASK FOR BETTER SERVICE!!!! Great location, nice staff and AWESOME BBQ!!!!
All I can say is "WOW"! I was passing through Shreveport, LA on my way to Virginia and stumbled across Ral BBQ and More.. Well I was hungry so I ordered the brisket, ribs, sausage AND brisket burnt-ends. Sides were slaw, mac-and-cheese, potato salad and green beans. Every single thing was great, not good but Great! The person working there were so friendly and it was like I had been there many times. I will be passing back through in two weeks and will be stopping again.
I ordered 2 potatoes from here today and they were huge. I visited this place a couple years ago and was so impressed with the food and service. Now since I live in this area I will definitely eat here often. The only thing I didn't like is that my potato was too hard. But the service was great.
Quite simply the best BBQ I've ever had! Brisket, sausage, and pork 3 meat plate with BBQ beans and slaw. The BBQ beans were just the right amount of spicy and sweet. The slaw was crunchy with a slight yet very distinct reminder of an Asian slaw while still holding onto what I feel a traditional BBQ joint slaw should be. So very tasty. I live in Florida and I promise, I'm coming back for more of this someday!
Great BBQ and wonderful customer service. Family owned establishment. That bbq sauce on the sausage is amazing. Ribs fell apart and brisket is heaven sent. We love the bbq beans and mac and cheese. A must have for BBQ!
There are times when the ribs are a little over done. Pray yours are not. It will make your day so much better. Their chicken is the best and the sausage brisket tators are truly worth the drive.
BEST DAMN BBQ period! It isn't just the fact the food is always consistent and amazing. The owner Harvey is one of the most genuine people. He is the reason the place will always be top notch. *********CHEAT SHEET*********** Order the brisket potatoes! You will like my comment if you do.
Not worth the money you will spend. The portions are small and the chicken was very dry. I am guessing thats why they give you so much bbq sauce that taste like Heinz 57 steak sauce. Very disappointed some cheap fast food meal.
Friday at lunch time, and not particularly busy except for one large party in a separate dining area , I ordered a two meat plate with sausage and ribs and a baked potato side. I noted a handmade sign that indicated "extra BBQ sauce: 75¢. The plate was amply filled with a huge baked potato, loaded with cheese, three large ribs and 8-10 coin slices of red hot link. The meats were lukewarm at best and that would be OK except the ribs were somewhat pasty and the hot link was mostly cereal and while the ribs had some hint of smoke, the hot link had none or at least not enough to overcome the artificial flavors. The star of the plate was the baked potato, nicely baked, pre-buttered and as mentioned before loaded with cheddar. The little "to go" pack of sour cream was a nice option but lacking in size vs the large spud. After the food was delivered, no one said boo to me for the rest of my time there. I really wanted to like this place, and the smoke drifting across the parking lot held the promise of something good to come, but that promise was not kept and I left sorely disappointed.
Beautiful place to visit. Very friendly staff and owner. DELICIOUS bbq. In my opinion the best in Shreveport
