The Story of Red Apple Education Center: Desiderata School has a mutualistic relationship with a nationally recognized 501(c)( 3) called D.E.R.R.C. The Desiderata Educational Research and Resources Corporation exists to provide educational services, resources, materials, etc. to the community in a variety of ways. Facilitating a student center is one of those ways. Since Desiderata School does not operate a 'brick and mortar' school building, the Red Apple Education Center provides space for Desiderata School (or other educational entities) to use administrative offices, as well as tutors to work with students, small classes to be held, instructor led yoga or meditation groups, seminars, foreign language classes, Board meetings, etc. Although interdependence between D.E.R.R.C. (Red Apple Education Center) and Desiderata School is inevitable, each entity is truly individual as both are diligently working to promote different and separate agendas.
