My rabbits go here for emergency visits. For example, Nate, my almost 2 yr old mini Lop was having GI stasis symptoms in Dec 2021. Dr. McCleery was able to diagnose him correctly with liver lobe torsion and helped us get the surgery he desperately needed. She saved my baby's life! She also did a very thorough wellness exam for both of my rabbits. Usually with other rabbit vets, they just say "your rabbit is healthy" after spending a quick time with them. But with her, she actually checked a lot of things and you could see it in the discharge notes. I'm very happy and thankful about their services. Choosing them for emergency visits for your rabbits is worth the money.
Lucy fell down a flight of stairs she’s 9 and a little unsteady, so we had an emergency visit. The doctors we spoke to genuinely cared about our dog and gave us several medical options, as well as their honest opinions about what would be best for our girl. I absolutely trusted them and their diagnosis with regards to Lucy. The doctors we spoke to were very clear and communicative, caring, patient with my questions, and seemed to genuinely care about the condition and we’ll-being of Lucy. We are thankful they were there for us.
I love Red Bank Veterinary Hospital for their amazing admin staff, ER doctors and especially Dr. Granick. I can't thank him enough for how kind, compassionate and determined he is in helping my dog, Layla. She's had a really difficult time with an idiopathic pleural effusion condition that we've seen several veterinarians for and we just haven't been able to figure out the cause. I'm just so grateful for Dr. Granick; the passion he has for his work just radiates through with all the effort he gives in caring for and treating Layla. Truly an incredible doctor with the biggest heart. I'm hopeful we can elongate her life to the best of our abilities so she can continue to bring smiles to all the beautiful people she meets.
I've been here several times for various reasons. Some critical, others not. They've always been really great. Dr. Glass is amazing if you need the Neuro department. We also saw Dr. Hart general practice today who was kind, informative, prompt, and genuinely took an interest in my Dane puppy. I'm sure he's terrific with all breeds, but if you have a Dane, go see him. I also had the unfortunate experience of having a puppy stay with them for about two months because she had pneumonia that just wouldn't clear. In the end, she didn't make it, but I will say that the team there tried literally everything they could to save her. Lots of different departments visited and don't have a bad thing to say about them. Wish we lived closer! Thank you, RBVH for everything you do.
Went for a visit to check on a kitten's eye which was looking cloudy. After checking out her eyes I was given a thorough explanation of what the the doctor saw and that there would be no harmful effects seen later in her life from her condition which was quite a relief. I was able to get an appointment quickly, which was wonderful since I was worried about the kitten. The price is a bit high, but it's worth it for the level of service and the piece of mind that your pet is in good hands
When my pomeranian of 18 years was going thru a difficult time, someone had recommend I check out RBVH. I enjoyed the way you cared for my pet. Surgery went well and I was able to get to more years with her after that. Eventually when she was on her last breathe she had passed in my arms on the way to the hospital. It was the toughest time for me but when I got there all the vets and staff had offered condolences and did their best to comfort me. I had my moments with her before I left her there in the hands of the vet. I chose to cremate my dog and I have kept her ashes. The card and the delicate care I recieved even during that time made it easy to cope with. 2 years later I was able to open up my heart again to a new member of the family, a French bully. This is my second pet that I bring to your hospital for all the regular check ups and procedures and I love the feeling that I get knowing my pets are in good hands. Just the attitude and attention to detail gets me every time. I love this place and I highly recommend for all your pet's needs. Plus the atmosphere is like no other!
Rex came down with pneumonia very suddenly and we are so thankful we went to RBVH. They gave us our options and ultimately we decided to keep Rex in the ICU for a couple days. I called for updates way more than I should've but everyone was so patient and caring and knew exactly how he was doing. I think potentially we may have lost him or he might have had to spend his life on oxygen had we not gone to RBVH. Can't recommend them enough. Also for routine visits we've seen many doctors and they all are wonderful.
I knew my Cali was in the best hands! Fabulous dentistry department. Dr. Haggerty was exceptional. Cali’s remaining teeth are so white! She was well cared for and every detail was attended to from parking lot assistance to superb communication with the doctor to expertly prepared meds from the pharmacy. Overall, very impressed. Nothing but the best for my Cali-girl!
I was warmly welcomed and my rescue dog was accommodated and cared for in the best of ways! Your staff is kind and empathetic. The entire experience of parking, ambulating Cracker, intake and Doctor involvement and communication was excellent.
I’m thankful for Red Bank Veterinary Hospital. After getting a grave diagnosis of my dog’s heart murmur and arrhythmia from a local vet, I saw Dr. Goodwin for a second opinion. His diagnosis was much less severe and saved us from giving Tini, who shows no obvious signs of a heart condition, unneeded medication. I’m sure he added years onto our dog’s life by being honest. <3
