This is my favorite restaurant in Decatur.  I have never had a bad meal or service.  They are consistently great.  They care about customer satisfaction.  The menu features local products and changes with the seasons.  The chef and bartender are at the top of their game.

We LOVE Red Barn. The food is amazing and all made from scratch. My daughter is an extremely picky eater and will eat multiple items from the brunch menu. I highly recommend the french onion soup, it is delicious. Another perk of eating here is it is located at the airport so you can watch planes land and take off.

Caveat: this is only the 2nd day the restaurant has been open nevertheless..... Enjoyed my lunch very much. Great staff, energetic, very attentive. Food was great, good portions. Little more pricey than expected but not excessive. This is definitely a restaurant to keep an eye on, lots of potential.

We had an excellent experience at the Red Barn Kitchen. The service is incredibly warm, friendly, and efficient. The menu is filled with imaginative dishes, with tons of locally sourced ingredients. The bar is also stocked with the usual suspects, plus many locally brewed ales.  We both thuroughly enjoyed our deviled egg starter, and our entrees. I'm rarely take pictures of my food, but I couldn't resist these eggs.  The owner came by to be sure we were enjoying our meal, and let us know more about some of the local ingredients in our choices. We will be back to see what Fall and Winter menus might offer.

Everything was great. So much flavor in everything. The salad wedge thing I ordered was AMAZING. Cheese curds were excellent with their house made ranch. Chicken and waffles, so tender and juicy. Protip: pour the bourbon maple syrup slow, there are cherries in the bottom lol. Fiance also enjoyed her horseshoe. 100% will return. Very calming warm atmosphere. Great drinks.

Amazing experience. The wait staff and the owner showed their enthusiasm in every interaction. They gave a great explanation of where things were sourced and what was special about each dishes. Our waiter Wes suggest the braised short rib and their version of a horseshoe, both dishes had amazing amount of depth and flavor. Their service and friendliness made our birthday celebration absolutely perfect. Bonus points, the view is excellent and parking is easy. Pull up and park right outside the restaurant. Then enjoy a great meal as you watch the runway and the planes.

Came for brunch about 4 months ago which was AMAZING 10/10 highly recommend actually still at the table writing the review for dinner. Food was awesome again. Scallops were very well done and the chicken and waffles was a fun take on the recipe. Cheese curds are amazing so fresh tasting. Our server Jason was very personable and fun to have as our waiter. Definitely coming back again!

This restaurant is very pretty for being in a tiny airport in Decatur.  It has an upscale, somewhat elegant feel.  Our server wasn't great but we knew he was new.  That was ok, we were in no rush.  The menu is somewhat limited and the prices somewhat high, but everyone enjoyed their meals.  We will most likely return.
