Unfortunately i didnt get a chance to see the Doctors there. I called to make an appointment for my hip. The secretary that answered the call REFUSE to give me appointment. After 15 minutes on the phone i ask to speak to the office manager. I'm 68 years and retired. I dont think EVERY office should have access to my file as this women misinterpreted. At this point i would NOT see anyone in that office
Showed up well before scheduled appointment time. Waited well after scheduled appointment time, inquired with staff, was told it would be at least another half hour wait. Asked why the provider couldn't honor the appointment time that was schedule over a month prior, their response, because he is a Doctor, what? I am a paying patient with a busy schedule as well. I asked if the provider could call me later when able, they said he couldn't and that I would have to reschedule. The staff's disregard for my time is unacceptable.
I like the doctors here but the office staff is probably the most unprofessional I have dealt with. Some are courteous, some down right rude. I have had pain for months in my knee. Waiting for synvisc shots already tried cortisone and have done a scope 2 years ago. I keep calling and am told they are waiting on insurance approval and they will call me back. They never do. They do not realize I can check my insurance status and applications and they have never even applied for this service for me. I have been there for appointments and been rescheduled, have been rescheduled the day before an appointment for weeks. Now at the end of the insurance year, in some of the worst knee pain I have been in I am looking for a new ortho doctor and hoping to get some relief. I understand you have to be your own advocate but sometimes you have to wonder if the care of the patient is their focus. You shouldn't have to badger your doctor for care.
Dr. Gibbs was great. Did well to explain all my options and help me make the best decision for me. I would give five stars to him. The admin side is where I give the three stars. I'm active duty Army and use Tricare. I understand their office probably doesn't deal with us too much, so after a week and not hearing anything I gave them a break. I was waiting on a referral to see a PT. I called and explained that I cannot not submit my own referral. The doctor's office must call Tricare or use the Humana website to submit the referral. They said ok while also sounding annoyed. Not an issue, I'm sure they're just busy. Three weeks later I still hear nothing. I call Tricare and they tell me the office still hasn't submitted anything. I called the office again and they had no idea what I was talking about. I explained that their office must call Tricare and submit the referral in order for Tricare to authorize me to see the PT. Much like how I saw them. So now I'm still waiting. If it goes though this time on time, I'll redact this post and chalk it up to inexperience with Tricare.
As far as I am concerned, Dr. Loveys walks on water! He did an ankle replacement for me and I have gone from horrible daily pain to absolutely none at all. His ankle took me on a long vacation to Alaska where I hiked and climbed without any concerns. I have always had pleasant, helpful experiences with all the office staff. I have recommended Dr. Loveys and all the Red Creek Ortho Docs to numerous people, and am grateful we have them in the Rochester area.
Dr. Terrance Daino performed my shoulder surgery, he did an excellent job, very compassionate, takes time to listen to his patients concerns and needs. Red Creek staff is amazing very friendly, outgoing, and knowledgeable. I highly recommend this office.
Dr gibbs is a great doctor but extremely long waits and its hard to get appointments for any time you want. Rochester general pushes the doctor to see a certain number of patients a day so they are rushed as a result you feel untreated.
I wanted to be fair and hold my comments so i waited till my surgery with another orthopedic surgeon. Dr Love'y refused to listen to me for several mos after he did fixation surgery with a plate and screws and wires. I asked for an MRI and was in excruciating pain everyday and he continued to push physical therapy and said over and over that i need more time. I had not really walked for 6 mos when we decided to take to hardware out but after that same thing could not walk and was in severe pain day after day. mo 8 i go back and he says im turning you over to the pain clinic even though i knew it was structural he refused an MRI and acted like i was crazy, . My doctor primary looked at my foot because i was in so much pain and said " it is not positioned right and deformed. She was appalled. Should have went to her sooner. MRI showed many problems in the foot. Meanwhile i went to his pain doctor Kalia at unity spine clinic . He was a raving maniac, refusing to listen and wanted to put me on nerve drugs without considering structural damage. There is nerve damage but most of it was structure. TODAY i had a three and a half hour surgery to fix the ankle and foot at strong hospital. The achilles tendon had shrunk and was lengthened by the surgeon . It was damaged in the accident and there was tons of scar tissue that needed to be taken out as well as cartilage damage. Dr Lovey's left me like this for 9 mos treating me as if i was nuts. Now im going to be in a cast for another 6 weeks and then physical therapy. I'm sorry i had to write this but it needed to be exposed. This story is hard to believe but true . I would not go back there if my leg was hanging off. William Hallowell Jr.
Always been treated with respect and dignity. On time appointment usually. The sign in kiosks are so easy-to-use and are disinfected between patients.
Both Dr Klotz & Dr Loveys are wonderful they have both performed very successful surgery on me. The PA Lisa is also terrific. The office staff has improved greatly recently.
