Lived over here for 16 years and this is the first time I ever went to this Bar. It was awesome the service was awesome and the food was delicious.I recommended if you come to Kent Island check it out Food: 5/5
Great location on Kent Island. Walking distance to several hotels and venues. Mussel were very tasty as was the crab dip. I was there with a golf group before dinner time staff arrived so it seemed slow for service but really wasn't bad at all. We just had another beer while waiting on food !
I surprised my friends, It's All Good a great band out of Delaware by the way, by making a trek to Red Eye's for the second time this month first time at night in over a decade and was pleasantly surprised. While I didn't order food, nor do I drink... the bar staff was attentive, polite, and respectful of my sober lifestyle. Always a plus in my book! The bouncers were super chill, the crowd was remarkably polite, and the band of course rocked! Looking forward to going back in a couple weeks. Just a fun night all around!
We drive over the Bay Bridge a lot. Kent Narrows is a great stopping place either going east or west for a place to eat, stretch & relax. Our 1st time at Red Eye's Dock Bar, and it's exactly what it states, a bar on the docks. All outside dining. Most of this outside dining is covered, but there are some tables for the sun lovers out there. We found a seat at the covered bar & was greeted in the appropriate amount of time. Busy for a small place. My husband ordered a beer & I got a margarita. Difficult to keep salt on a plastic rim, but our bartender did an excellent job! We ordered the tuna nachos, wings & steamed clams. All was tasty and filled the void. Good bar food & good drinks. You can't beat the beautiful view of the bay too! Only reason it didn't get 5 stars, because it was a hot day, there was no inside seating. Inside seating would have been nice on that hot, sticky day. Parking: Gravel lot.
The HUGE Sunday parties with big name live bands like "Vs. The Earth" that were once the Hallmark of Red Eyes sadly seem to be a thing of the past. It's still a nice spot on the water. But otherwise it's become a pretty sleepy place where locals quietly sip their drinks and listen to low volume, easy listening soloists. Whiskey thought it was a great place to chill...
Had a great lunch at the restaurant the waitress was awesome, food was delicious. We were in town for a rockfish charter and kind of got scunked out on the water but the rockfish at the restaurant was awesome! Crab cakes spectacular, so everybody was happy with their meals great place to go. Loved it! Reasonably priced meals!Recommended dishesRock Fish
Stopped in on a busy August weekend, easy docking, great food, great atmosphere, great service and all staff members I encountered were extremely friendly and helpful. First time here but definitely return… highly recommend!!Food: 5/5
It's a great place to just hang out unwind grab a bite and have a drink or 2. The staff is very personable and service is amazingFood: 5/5
Staff is rude and unaccommodating to locals. Food is sub par at best, Drinks overpriced and barely drinkable. Recently moved to Kent Island, will never return to this bar. Should you choose to go, keep your expectations low!
Great spot for a bite and some beers. I am glad the new management has updated the menu. The food now reflects the atmosphere. The ceviche was amazing, tasted fresh, garnished with avocado. The rockfish street tacos were spot on, I could have done without the avocado slice though. Steamed shrimp were good. The corn was pretty bad, over cooked and tough. You would think the corn would have been perfect given the location. The outside seating and views can’t be beat. Being able to bring your boat right up and dock at the place is a huge plus.Overall a great place. The service was good , not great , that’s why 4 instead of 5 stars.
