Brought my family to Red Robin in the South Shore Plaza for dinner on a Wed night. The hostess seated up right away and told us that our server would be over in a minute. We had a look at the menu waiting for the server. The only other people in the room was a couple in one booth next to us and a single child in another. We waited about 5 min and didn't see anyone. Then the server came into the room and started to clean the other tables. She then brought the other table something, and then proceeded to clean the tables again. She went over to the child sitting by himself and spoke to him then proceeded to clean more tables. We were really starting to wonder what was going on as she was totally ignoring us. She kept cleaning the tables collecting dishes and glasses. She then went over to the child again spoke to with him and then again, proceeded to clean the tables, walking right by us with not even a word. This whole episode went on for about 5 minutes so we were there for a total of 10 minutes without even a "I'll be there in just a moment". I told my wife and family we're leaving as I was really shocked at the lack of service in every way possible. This is something I've probably only done one other time in my life, just walk out before getting served. I still don't know why we were ignored the way we were. I do know that we will never, ever go back to this restaurant.
Pretty typical fast casual place. Cocktails were surprisingly tasty, and the food was filling, but not blow your socks off good.
1st time for me. Food was great! Staff were okay. But we had to wait 10-15 mins for a table for two. Place wasn't full, and tables were open to be sat at. We ordered our dinners right away because we had been sitting for awhile and very hungry, and didn't want to take a chance on how long it would take to get appetizers. I was told theirs only one cook temp on tavern dubble burgers cuz of how flat they are. But our burgers still were very good. We both ordered another batch of bottomless fries but only received one batch, so we just shared. We will be returning in the future, maybe sit at the bar. About 15 people walked in after us and had to wait too, so we had gotten their in good time. After seeing A Quite Place at Randolph movies , this was a yummy dinner.
Showed up yesterday only to discover the place permanently closed, sign removed and totally cleaned out. Must have happened fast, since there was a 5 star review left only one week ago! Going to be a pain to use my gift card now...
Great burgers! I stopped in for lunch, where I was quickly seated by the host, and greeted by a fantastic server. The food was hot and delicious. The service was quick and friendly. I felt like every employee was working to make sure that I had a pleasant experience. I was even greeted by the manager, Natasha, she went out of her way to make sure I had a great meal, and I appreciate it. Give this location a chance. You won’t regret it.
I wish I had the options to give this place 0 stars. A friend and I went there yesterday and we waited not even 10 minutes to be seated which was great. We were able to order somewhat quick but drinks took forever to come, food as well. Both our meals and appetizers were cold and undercooked, never received any drink refills we asked for, our waitress checked on every single table but ours even though she saw us trying to wave her down multiple times, also had the audacity to roll her eyes when we left and not say one word to us. Do yourself a favor and never eat at this Red Robin, we wish we waited the 45 minutes it would have taken to eat at the Cheesecake Factory.
So this was my first time at Red Robin. I had heard the jingle as a kid and had it stuck in my head ever since. We went in and waited for a server to show up while we wondered weather we should sit ourselves or not. The restaurant was not very busy, even on Christmas Eve eveThen after a few minutes a waiter spotted us, and was able to bring us to a table. We ordered our food, I got the blue cheese burger and my boyfriend got a bbq burger. I was very surprised by just how thin the burger was. It had a lot of mayo on it that overpowered everything else. The blue cheese on it wasn’t very flavorful at all. Once we were seated, the staff was very attentive and friendly, though they did seem to be overworked. I don’t think I will be coming back to a Red Robin anytime soon. The food isnt terrible, it’s just not great. I was really looking forward to the “Red Robin, yum!” And I don’t think I got it.
The worst Red Robin experience that we've ever had. It took a few minutes to get noticed standing at the front and another eight before we even had our waitress come by to take our order. My food was messed up, I had asked for a lettuce wrap but received a sesame seed bun and no lettuce at all, I got about ten sweet potato fries which were shriveled up and cold and had cinnamon and sugar on them instead of salt, I had ordered an additional side of broccoli which I had to remind the waitress of because they still hadn't arrived even after we finished our burgers. My husband's burger patty was half the size that it should've been and got, no joke, a piece of bacon the size of a quarter. He also got only a couple of cold fries. The water we order never showed up our entire visit. Our waitress was rude and dismissive and mostly absent. Other people surrounding us also got their orders incorrect. Needless to say we will not be going back to this location.
My mom and I have been to this location before, but the last time we visited, it took a while for us to be seated mind you, the place was not packed. Food was fine, but the customer service was off. So some time passes and we decide to try them again. This time when we get there, we were seated a little sooner, but it still took a a while as we had to look for a host/hostess to help. Once our waitress gets to us, she takes our drink and food order all at once. Long wait time for the drinks, but once another young girl is almost at our table with them, she completely spills ALL OF THEM ON US. We both got a water and a strawberry lemondae each. So she spilled all 4 drinks on us, which not only got us drenched, but also resulted in ruining my moms purse and contents inside. The girl is apologetic when we go to the funky bathroom to dry off, also informing us that it was her first day on the job... In all, we were not comfortable staying there even longer since we were soaked and now naseuous from the bathroom odor. On our way out, a 3rd woman who must've been the manager had THE POOREST CUSTOMER SERVICE in the way in which she asked us if we were leaving. She looked at us with an attitude like we were crazy before asking if we wanted to take the food with us...no type of gesture or apology being offered whatsoever.
Please explain how a burger named bacon guacamole has neither one of the ingredients in the damned title on the burger when I got home!!! The staff is incompetent. The dine-in experience was poor as well. The host or whoever he was just dropped the napkins and menu on the table without saying a word. The big tavern came out without the pickles I requested and burnt, dried out and hard sweet potato fries in the basket. The waitress had to have known the fries were a mess but brought them out to me anyways. My friend’s burger came out with 4 fries in the basket. We both had to request new fries. I requested a refill on my lemonade, the waitress brought out my drink in a glass that had dirt all over the glass with her fingerprint on it. I don’t recommend this location at all. The place should have remained closed.
