We stayed in a regular king room. It was large and quiet. Everything about the room was very clean and nice. The only complaint I had was with the distance it was from our room to the elevators. There was only one bank of elevators on the floor and it was a very long walk from any room that isn't right by the elevator. There was a nice selection of restaurants in the resort and lots of places to get a drink, too. The casino was clean and had variety of games and tables. The pool is beautiful, very large and had several pools. Service at the pool was good, too.
Place is really nice and Family friendly. We originally went there when it opened because the room prices were really nice for what you got even though it was really far from the strip. But maybe 5ish years ago we stopped going because their room prices went way up close to the premium hotels on the strip like the Wynn. If I am going to pay premium prices and everything is equal except location. I’d of course rather stay on the strip at a Wynn or Caesars Palace level hotel. Rooms: The rooms are some of the best in Vegas. Nearby activities: They have big name concerts there during the summer. But everything else is on the strip so be prepared to drive your car a lot. Safety: Very nice, clean, and safe Walkability: Unless your into going to normal stores you have in your home town, not much to walk to. The Red Rock state park is a few miles away & pretty cool to visit, but you’ll probably still need to drive there. Food & drinks: They were the first Vegas hotel that I could remember that had nice fancy restaurants for a couples trip & affordable places for family trip with kids.
Visited this location with my husband for a simple date night. Very quick line and excellent service at the gaming counter. Machines were great, up to date with good payouts. The drinks were strong, flowed freely, and I didn't have to chase anyone down to get them. The facilities were very clean and well kept. After playing the machines we ventured into Leslie's BBQ for an AMAZING dinner... We are from the south send judge BBQ very very harshly and when I say it was good, it was GOOD. Except the Mac n cheese which was absolute trash. We will definitely be back to the casino as well as Leslie's.
Red Rock has really gone downhill lately. Tonight I played for 3 hours between both high limit rooms and the blackjack tables and never saw a single cocktail server. I can’t come back with my wife either since our daughter was made very uncomfortable by the staff at Kid’s Quest last time we were here. I think it’s still the best casino in the area, but I liked when it was more fun here and I wanted to spend more money too.
Red rock is a wonderful casino/hotel with everything you need under one roof. They have bowling, theaters, great selection of restaurants and lots of slots/game tables. The area around it has shops and restaurants , even Costco . Rooms are nicely appointed and nice size . The pool area is nice with large pool area and smaller pools around . Nice atmosphere . I like the oyster bar and worth a try !
I love red rock but this wasn’t the knock my socks off experience I am used to. Mostly due to the quality of the room. It obviously wasn’t cleaned and the temperature in the room was pretty uncomfortable. The pool restaurants and area never disappoint but I also didn’t like being charged the resort at check out, just assess the charge upfront.
Was at Red Rock for business, so I didn't get many opportunities to enjoy the property. One thing that was evident was how clean the property was and how friendly the staff was as well. I really like the large rooms too. I'm just not a big fan of the location, you almost feel sequestered from what most people feel is "Las Vegas". For a conference planner though...that is probably a good thing.
Beautiful hotel, staff was great and the rooms were nice. Good selection of restaurants in the casino. The only downside is that it’s in the middle of nowhere. It was great for our conference as we really just stayed there and had everything we needed on site. I’ve also been to Vegas many times so traveling to the strip was not part of my plan. But for those that want to see the strip, you’re looking at a good 30-40 minute cab ride just to get there. If being on the strip isn’t important, I’d recommend this resort. Rooms: They didn’t have a room with a king so they let me upgrade to a much nicer room for $150 more per night. It’s normally an additional $400. Was definitely worth it.
Nice place, nice rooms and restaurants. T-Bones has probably one of the best Old Fashions I have ever had. The Lucky Penny had good food and drinks like the Old Fashion at very reasonable rates. Their dessert counter looked amazing! It was a bit of a drive to the strip if you are interested, but the sunrises and sunsets were amazing.Rooms: 5/5
I love this hotel! It smells so good you can smell it in the parking lot. Does not smell smoke at all. The rooms are very spacious and clean. They clean the rooms every day. The swimming pools are very clean, beautiful, and so many of them! There's arcade at Kids Quest, bowling alley, great restaurant options, and movie theater. We love the steakhouse, excellent service, and prices are not outrageous. This will be our new Vegas destination!!!
