"Reedville Cafe first opened as the Shack Tavern in 1934. It was a place to stop for some good conversation over a favorite brew or two. In 1950, Al and Polly Van Beveren bought the business and it has been in the family ever since. The name changed to the Reedville Cafe in 1990 and over time dining areas were enlarged and added. Serving breakfast, lunch and dinner daily, along with a very popular Happy Hour, Oregon wines, microbrews, outdoor seating, and kid menus. The staff is the best!"

I liked it better when it was The Shack. I ordered that terriyaki chicken bowl. The food was good, but the vegetables were obviously all recently frozen before being brought out to me. The onion rings were the highlight I'd the meal. Very good job with these.
Always a great place for good food. Staff is amazing. Friendly, fast and always a treat. I had the club sandwich with fries, and a cup of clam chowder. The sandwich perfectly put together and all the ingredients were fresh and delicious! The clam chowder is by far one of the best chowder around. They don't skimp on the claims and it has am amazing flavor. I should go here more often, as it always huts the spot.
Fabulous! We go there all the time and it never disappoints. Even when more restaurants open nearby we know this will be our go to. It’s consistently good with a wide variety of selections. I love the chicken salad, quesadillas, fajita salad, club sandwich, and baked potatoes. The service is perfection!
Food did not disappoint. The 1000 island dressing was outstanding. Homemade ! R waiter was good, even made him laugh a couple times. Love the history of this restaurant. Highly recommend this place 4 breakfast, lunch or dinner.Food: 5/5
First time here and I was very impressed! The service was remarkable and the food had such great flavor. Not to mention, they have a bar in the back will definitely be coming back here!
This place looks so friendly and fun. Friendly staff greeted me. Seated quickly. Today I ordered an 8 oz sirloin steak dinner for $24.99. Expecting a dinner salad first I was informed my dinner did not include that. Give me a break... $25.00 steak and no salad? When I asked why ...I was told it was due to food prices going up. Im EXTREMELY educated about restaurant operations and let me tell you that lettuce, tomato, 1 slice of cucumber and dressing is extremely cheap to buy. My server Jackie was friendly enough and added it. When my side salad came it was wilted lettuce that is usually used as a garnish in most places and so terrible looking I hid most of it in my napkin. I ate the tomato, cucumber and croutons. Now I know why they don't have side salads with entree's because they suck! When my steak arrived it was a small breakfast steak...cooked to my satisfaction. My husband ordered a hamburger and a side of onion rings. They looked delicious! We had water to drink... and we left spending $60.00! Carl's Jr. is where I wished we had gone. No I will not be back to the Reedville Cafe!
Had a Sunday Brunch here ordered the corned beef hash. It was cooked with just the right crisp and crunchiness. No burnt taste. The service was prompt and the server was very attentive. The place had a lot of tables but it was a bit cramped. They have a nice patio with plenty of tables available. Can't get wrong when you see a lot of locals frequenting the establishment.
We found this gem soon after we moved here in February. Being in the restaurant business for most of our lives, we are picky with food and service. The food here is consistently great, and they do creative things with specials too. The service is actually 2nd to none in the area. Mary, Paco, Grant, and the others are wonderful servers. We try to go once a week to enjoy a fabulous lunch. Breakfast is pretty damn fantastic too.
