I love Japanese food and this kaiten place did not disappoint. The service was fast, the sushi and rolls were good. The saki was great... not a lot of variety but they were nice. The plate were priced just right with the most expensive one @ $4. The place was not that big so we had to wait for a seat. Even with a lot of guests, the belt was always filled. If you want something that is not on the belt, you can always ask the chef to make a few for your table.
Another good conveyor belt sushi joint. I made a mistake by ordering trays instead of plates and got a lot of sushi, it was really good and ended up taking the rest home. It's also reasonable for their price too. I'll likely come back again and try eating from their conveyor belt next time.
Great service and lots of sushi variety. My only complaint would be that there seemed to be a lot of krab dishes which I don't like too much, but that may be due to our table taking a lot of the salmon and tuna off the belt. Each dish was a delight!
What a down-home little spot right off of TV Hwy in Aloha. Food, service, atmosphere……! Mahalo Sushi Zen!!!
Love this place sushi is always fresh and they cook the calamari and veggie tempora to order so it's always hot and fresh. Staff is friendly and helpful. Prices are average for most sushi places. This was the place where the love of my life and I went on our first date so it holds a special place in our hearts. Some of the staff even remembers us and has some of the common things we order started when we sit down
Went on our 8th year anniversary, been a while for us. The conveyor belt sushi was amazing.
This is my favourite place to get sushi in the area. When I first moved here, I had tried several places that I wasn’t thrilled with, and finally came across this one. I haven’t bothered going anywhere else since. I love their Philly roll, especially the smoked salmon as it has great flavour, and the karaage chicken is delicious as well with some spicy mayo. They can be somewhat busy depending on when you go, so I try and get there just before or after normal peak times.
A bad experience all around… where to start. The person that handed my online order shoved the bag is my face and lost my balance. Off to a bad start. As for the food, the portion sizes to were inversely proportionate to the price. The rolls were puny and not very good… I am being kind. .. Not even appetizing to look at. There are so many better places around the area. I am never going back.
EXACTLY what we were hoping for on a weeknight. No fuss, very tasty rolls with lots of options for every palate. Super-responsive when ordering online for takeout - catered to all the item adjustments we requested without batting an eyelash. Even though we didn't get to enjoy the conveyor belt method in-person, we'll definitely add this place to our...rotation Dietary restrictions: I noted in one of the items that my wife has celiac's; not only did they ensure there was no tempura or other possible gluten, but they even provided the gluten-free soy sauce without me asking.
Solid conveyor belt sushi place. My favorite is the "sushi pizza" - it has rice, seaweed, crab salad, and salmon on top. It is baked in an oven, and I believe it has an eel sauce on top. It is good both off the belt colder and fresh out of the oven - frankly they taste so different I recommend trying it both ways. The place really slows down after 6pm and the belt isn't nearly as full so if you're wanting to go and just grab from the belt I recommend going during lunch. If you'd rather order what you want and want the quieter atmosphere then it may be a good fit for you for dinner.
