Regal Theaters have several great theaters near us and the Sherwood location is one of them. We always enjoy heading that way since the traffic and parking are usually pretty easy for the most part. Wonderful screens and sound systems. Abundant open parking lot and beautiful clean open theater makes movie-going fun. Great theater to catch a movie!
Serious hidden gem in Sherwood for Movies. I have no clue why, but the Sherwood Regal Is never packed. In contrast to the Bridgeport Village location or Beaverton. This is why we are so lucky to have it so close to us from Newberg. Best things 1. Limited people, 2. Easy access, 3. Super clean, 4. Quick concessions, 5. Smaller theatre size with ample seating due to lack of traffic. Here is my recommendation, do not buy on regalia site…they charge a convenience fee..so save a few bucks and simply buy at the theatre. We love it, easy parking, limited traffic, clean place and always have the best movies.
Soon There was a time when families would get together on the weekends on vacation during the week enjoy popcorn movies memories. There was a time when memories were made love was forged in the darkness. The smell of popcorn The sweatiness of your lovers hand held in the dark. A time before and soon the time after. May the silver screen never go dark may the lens never be blurry make a good Times never stop reeling. May the popcorn always be fresh. May the darkness always be an old friend.
I have been going to this movie since i was a kid. So many good memorys here. Its good to see the movie Theater is still there. :
Movie was great! Place was clean. Sound system was great. Chairs are real comfortable. Be prepared for a hot theater though. There were multiple people around us Including ourselves that we’re finding what we could to fan ourselves in an attempt to stay cool. I took three credit cards out to create a makeshift fan while women were digging in there purses to find something. I feel there’s extreme price gouging on the food and beverage. I’m trying to figure out why an establishment would need to charge $7.50 for a tiny bag of popcorn or $5.50 for a small bottle of water. I don’t drink but I inquired how much a can of coors light was and for a 12oz. can it was $10 And the price of alcohol went up from there depending on brand and size.
Very nice theatre- clean, staff was friendly, and the Unlimited movie pass is an excellent deal. Popcorn always has tons of butter, and the Diet Coke is calibrated just right. Theatres are barely crowded- most screenings I’ve been to have maybe one or two other people.
Had some very good memories when this theater used to be open I still remember watching the phantom menace when you guys re aired it when I was like 3 or 4. This theater will always hold a spot in my heart for creating such great memories with family gonna really miss you buddy.
It’s a nice theater, and is clean. Although the popcorn and drinks are way over priced. For a small popcorn and I mean small it’s $8 and for a medium fountain drink it’s $8. And when you ask for a water cup it’s a 4 oz cup. we don’t go out much and this is the reason. Everything is overpriced.
Place is not at all like it use for be. It’s basically self check in, you can feel the budget cuts in the marketing outside and outside that over all lowered the ambience of going to the movies. I also called them every 10min for an hour to ask when the actual show time was to a movie I was running late for and they picked up 0 times. 3 more years tops before we look back at this place like we do blockbuster after these locations fail out one by one.
Great place to spend an evening. Flying solo or with a group, you can be sure to have an adventure, be romanced, or even sit at the edge of your seat in horror. As you gaze upon the spectacle of modern movies.
