Description

Sherwood Forest Paintball is one of Indiana's oldest and most famous paintball fields. Just a one hour drive from Chicago, our facility has over 76 acres and 13 playing fields (including airball) to play on and boasts the largest castle in the Midwest. Whether you are a first time player or an experienced veteran, you will find our fields to be the best around, year-round. Contact us today for more information! Walk-ins welcome on weekends, weekday Wednesday's are by advance reservation only. Secure your spot by reserving online for only $10, balance due when you get here.



"Jan/Feb reservations are required 7 days in advance. Must be above 25 degrees to play. Looking for some fun on the weekend or perhaps you have mad paintball skills and are very competitive. We have something for everyone. Want to step it up a notch. Sign up for one or both of our scenario games. We have everything you need to play. I played the Mir tactile event, and it was really fun. Lots of buildings and places to hide behind. The only downside is that the field is too big, and you might get slightly lost, or find yourself not quite sure where to aim
The best outdoor field I've ever played on, the owners love it and are always keeping up with the woodlands and renovating the field. Whatever you play go here to do it. Also kinda relaxing walking around the woods listening to birds and stuff well looking for players to eliminate.
Went here for an airsoft MILSIM. Absolutely fantastic grounds to play on no matter what the game would be. We were out here during freezing weather, snow, and ankle deep mud, and I cannot tell you how much the structures across this park made such an incredible difference. Great variety of buildings across the vast amount of land that they have here, overall 10/10 experience over the weekend we were there! Drove 5+ hours to go to this event and it was beyond worth it!!! Can’t wait to go back and play here again ‍
Went on a little road trip from the east side of Michigan just to check this place out. Heard nothing but good things about it and wanted to see for myself. We showed up and the staff was super friendly from the start. Normal paintball prices. The refs were amazing and really good about keeping things safe. The fields are a must see! The owner has taken a lot of time building then all. Definitely want to go back and try one of the big games they host.
Hands down the coolest, most well built, well maintained and best lay out of any airsoft field I've ever played. It's a must play and should be on everyone's airsoft bucket list. The owner is super nice, very passionate about what he does and takes pride in his work. The pirate ships he's adding to the pond off the bridge, are going to be amazing. Thanks for the great weekend!
Recently we had a birthday party here for my daughter. It was great that they supplied the equipment and a nice picnic table area. Of the 20 party goers only 4 had played paintball before. Sherwood Forest did a great job explaining the game rules and safety requirements. A lot of the kids were nervous at the beginning because they didn't know what to expect. The transformation from looking anxious at the start of the party to their look of prue joy after the first round will remain unforgettable to me. The kids and few parents that played had so much fun and were excited for round two, laughing at the experiences on the field. My daughter said "It was the best birthday party ever!" Several kids are now wanting to have their birthday parties here. I am so happy we decided to do the party here! We will definitely recommend this place to everyone. Definitely plan to go again sometime soon! Minimum age is 10 and it's on like 76 acres so need to be fit enough to walk to the different fields.
Old man has a power trip. Angry old people work here. I would hate to live in Indiana too. Recommending people go elsewhere for fun bc they don’t like to see you smile
I had a ton of fun dressing up as Mad Max and blasting my shotgun, and I legitimately felt like I was in the Fallout universe, the immersion was superb. Thank you all for a wonderful time.
This is the second time I've been to this place, and the second time I've had a blast. Prices are fair and the rentals are relatively inexpensive. The staff, though mostly young adults, were extremely courteous and very professional. They have a lot of space and therefore a lot of courses, I'm not sure if we were able to play every course either time, but it was more than enough to make us sore the next day just from the exercise. The first time was a buddy's birthday and this time around was a different buddy's bachelor party. I would recommend this place for either, or even just to get out with some friends and have a good time. Thanks Sherwood forest for the good time and for taking our group photo when we were all finished up.
Field playa great. Plenty of bunkers so it doesn't feel like no-mans-land, but not too many that you think you can't manage them all. Clean woods ball, fast bunker play, overall a great painball experience.
