Mission

Regent University Law Review seeks to present academically excellent scholarship on relevant issues facing the legal community today from the perspective of a historic Christian worldview. It is committed to a jurisprudence based upon a Higher Law; that is, law based upon the Law of God, yet remains open to publishing opposing viewpoints in certain contexts. It is the goal of the Law Review to provide a forum for scholarship that applies this perspective to our current legal system and that edifies the practicing bar.

"Regent University School of Law opened its doors in 1986. Today, the school offers a Juris Doctor J.D. in three-year and part-time formats, an online M.A. in Law, an on-campus LL.M. in Human Rights and an on-campus and online LL.M. in American Legal Studies. Additionally, thousands of Regent Law alumni practice law across the United States and in more than 20 countries. These capable men and women are distinguishing themselves as judges and judicial clerks, partners and associates in law firms, mayors and legislators, and in positions with government agencies and public interest organizations. Our practice-ready, purpose-driven graduates are a result of a Christ-centered mission, first-rate faculty, and an exceptional academic program."

When a Regents Professor Law Professor James Duane tells advises everyone in his online class to NOT comply with the police officer when one is stopped at a traffic site, he is instigating legal problems with the person stopped and ANY officer.. a 5 min traffic stop becomes a 45 min+ useless and non needed exercise to hinder the police working to serve normal persons best yes reference is that the sov cit is not a normal person , thx. When they do show up at court.. where the argument needs to be.. the judge simply tells the sov cit..no it donest work that way.. you may pay for your infraction or serve time..NOW the driver/traveler/ person of doubious intent has worries. forget about that initial 5 min get a ticket and pay.
“Lawyer lawsuits?!” Yup, you pay to learn from Jay Sekulow. A law degree from this place worth less and less. Fire Sekulow. Keep your self respect. Honestly, can any professor here hold their head up knowing they’re colleagues with Jay “Lawyer Lawsuits” Sekulow? Jeez. Before trying a take down during an impeachment trail of the President of the United States, check with your aids that you heard the other lawyer correctly. Simply humiliating. And I’m not even speaking to the obvious issue of a lawyer defending someone they know to be guilty. I’m speaking to Regent University allowing this hack to teach your paying customers.
Many class rooms here and the inside of the building can be a bit tough for new students to navigate at first but it gets easier over time.
Most seriously Christian law school in the world.
Don't show you have brains or exhibit Christian orthodoxy or they will doctor your transcript and dismiss you and ruin your law career.
Awesomeness!!!
