I was diagnosed a year ago with pancreatic cancer. I chose Astera Cancer Care to start my chemo treatments. Their care team are wonderful, from check in with Karen who knows my name. Roxane does my vitals, who is so sweet. Jenn in lab is always pleasant. Julie in the injection room is gentle with the needles. All the nurses in the treatment room, Linda, Kathy, Maryann, and Anya are so caring and personable. Sometimes I see Amy the PA who is just great. Dr. Salwitz is knowledgeable, calming and he always tells me I look good.I would definitely recommend Astera Cancer Care
Very caring, compassionate and professional team. Goes above and beyond to make clients knowledgeable and comfortable about their treatments. Environment clean, calm, comfortable and conducive to healing. Providers and support team available 24/7 to address any concerns. They have offices located throughout NJ which makes commuting easier. The treatment areas are clean, private and spacious. The entire team at Astera are very proactive, compassionate and caring. Nurses are very knowledgeable, caring and hands on. They make these treatments more tolerable for me. The APNs and PAs are fantastic and are well abreast on Oncology standards and protocols. They are all also very receptive to feedback. During my course of treatment, I have had the opportunity to meet most of the practitioners and nurses. I have never had a negative experience with this group. On site lab, pharmacy, and other ancillary services onsite makes for a very holistic approach to healthcare. Dr. Reid is my oncologist at the practice and he has been a God send for me. He walks me through each process, thoroughly answers all my questions and allows me to be involved with my plan of care. I feel very confident in the care I am receiving with this group. So happy I chose Astera again to provide for my healthcare needs. for Wish I could give 10 stars.

The staff at Astera are wonderful, friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. The Doctors are great especially mine Doctor Nissenblatt who has been treating and putting up with me for almost 13 years now and hopefully many more. The services and knowledge are always on the cutting edge and up to date in all areas and treatments. There is no place better then Aster Cancer Care!
Dr. Salwitz was extremely knowledgeable of my mom’s condition. In a few minutes he was able to identify a problem and rendered a solution to correct it. He also has great mannerisms and compassion putting my mom ease! All of the staff we have interacted with have been kind and patient. Thank you to everyone for helping my mom feel comfortable and treating her so well!
This is his wife Megan. I was able to obtain an appointment right away after calling another Dr. that was no longer taking new patients. I had been to Dr. Licitra another time & he had been great & did through job. I would recommend him to anyone. He also has wonderful bedside manner that goes well with his professionalism.
The professional staff makes all the difference. Especially the sweetest Roxanne. I can’t say enough. They’re qualified and caring which makes treatments easier to handle for my cousin. Right down to the intake and scheduling staff, everyone seems to take pride in their work which makes for a very caring experience for her.
I have been Dr Bruno Fang’s patient over four years. He is a thoughtful and wonderful doctor. He communicates with his patients, sharing information on treatments, explaining the medications and he listens intently to your concerns. He’s the best of the best!!!
Dr. Bruno Fang is a brilliant, compassionate and thorough physician. He has taken care of me since 2010 and most recently my wife. We would and do refer him to all our family and friends. I feel confident in doing so they are going to be in the best care available in central New Jersey.
Dr. Ronnen was such a pleasure. She really took the time to listen and address my concerns. She had a very calm and easy way of explaining symptoms and her conclusions. A doctor whom you feel you can trust and will be an advocate for you.
