The Rehabilitation Hospital of Wisconsin (RHOW) is a state of the art acute inpatient rehabilitation hospital focusing on neurological rehabilitation.
RHOW specializes in acute inpatient and outpatient rehabilitation for patients with neurological, orthopedic and medical conditions. A comprehensive team approach includes a Physiatrist (doctor of physical medicine and rehabilitation), rehabilitation nursing (CRRNs), physical therapy (PT), occupational therapy (OT), speech therapy (SLP), respiratory therapy (RT), dieticians, neuropsychology, rehab psychology, Hospitalists and case management. Patients that come to RHOW work with therapy (PT,OT,SLP) 3 hours a day, 5 days a week. With an average length of stay between 1-3 weeks, our goal is to return patients to their prior level of functioning within a safe and quick timeframe.
