I have stayed here a few times recently. I thought it was overpriced for the available amenities which are few. I needed the wifi password and could not reach anyone in the office although I tried for hours. From my cell phone since there are no room phones. The rooms are very basic and somewhat aged but CLEAN! The linens are definitely cheap and low quality. I would suggest bringing your own extras along if you have the option.
Bugs; Only sheet and comforter, no actual blanket; Outdoor lights used for indoor fixtures and are way to bright; Tub/shower not cleaned thoroughly; Toilet seat loose, nearly fell off toilet; Fridge iced over. Price changed for next guest, directly behind me in line.
I was charged $100 dollars for one room for two people. No receipt was given after I was charged an additional $20 to book the room. I was told, "My 100 dollars would be issued back to me in the morning." I go in the room and nothing works but the light's. The tv doesn't work and, the toilet does not flush, the water works but the shower curtain does not close. Also they only give you one cheap soap bar. I asked for a refund and was made to wait 2 hours before I finally received it. I would give them a -1, if that was an option! Whole night ruined!
Their systems rejected my credit card s even though my banks said it was OK. Room was clean and comfortable. Great shower. Room phone didn't have a cord. !
I stayed for a few days at this fabulous little gem of a motel. There is a woman there named Jasmine that runs every aspect of it. The room was spotless, when I had a issue with my t.v. after midnight, she quickly resolved it and with a smile on her face. Housekeeping. Amazing. Front desk. Amazing. Like a 5 star resort hotel when it came to excellent service. To me that far outweighs amenities. Thanks so much Jasmine! E
It was horrific. First the prices were ridiculous and we weren't offered any military discounts initially Dover is a military city. Next, our room key didn't work. Then it took 15 minutes to get a new key keep in my we had driven over 6 hours and were ready to get to sleep especially my four year old. Then there was a light bulb out in the room and they had no light bulbs to replace it. There was no iron in the room, the landline phone was out of order, and there was an annoying fly buzzing about the room. I talked to the manager who refused to lower the rate or comp us a room for the deplorable night's stay. Needless to say, we checked out first thing in the morning. Next time we visit Dover Christmas, we and our 15 other family members will be driving right past the Relax Inn which was not relaxing at all, and take our business back to the Dover Downs Suites which offered an excellent military discount with exquisite rooms. Get it together guys. This is poor customer service on every thinkable level.
I took some Christmas leftovers to a friend there, who's on state assistance due to covid induced financial woes. I think he got a voucher to stay there or something. The room was clean and equipped with the basic necessities TV, Wifi, Microwave, Refrigerator. Glad to see this establishment helping people out during these trying times. Thank you.
Do NOT book your hotel here. We were so excited to go on our trip and had a family emergency last minute. Not only did we miss out on our trip but we had to pay for a hotel we didn't even stay in. They DO NOT let you have any money back if you cancel within 48 hours of your stay. Even for emergencies. This is no way to treat customers if you want them to come back. Steve was the man at the desk and he was very unkind on the phone and just kept stating, "the manager says you still have to pay your night stay because it's within 48 hours." I will never go back and will tell everyone I know not to book at this hotel. I wish i could give this ZERO STARS!!
The comforters smelled, The shower head was broken, And the room had roaches. Disgusting room. Absolutely terrible.Rooms: 1/5
The room looked clean...flat pillows n tv shud be more higher for better viewing when laying down.. i have no idea wat bit me on my left arm...woke up to stinging n swellen...one piece of soap for two people is kinda cheap...I made the best of my nite I definitely won't be staying here again!
