IV drips 10/10. In all seriousness, it's great knowing this place is so close to home. The nurses did a great job at seeing me as soon as possible and really making me feel taken care of. I can't recommend them enough.
They have the beat attitude in the profession. GOD bless every single soul working here. They did every step in timely fashion, were very courteous, patiently heard, diligently worked towards the cure. Strongly recommend people to choose this place for a pleasant health focused/centered experience
I can't believe I was in Reston Hospital...this was the first time I was treated with dignity and respect. In the past I would have rather died then to go to that hospital. But , this time was so difficult that I couldn't believe it. I wish to thank everyone there! Especially Dr Elliott and his team. I CAN COUNT how many times different or technicians couldn't take my blood but Kevin did it on the first try and I didn't feel a thing..thank you all for a wonderful experience at a hospital that I deemed hell.but no t anymore..love you ladies and gentlemen love and appreciation you all
I am very satisfied with the care my girlfriend received in the Reston Hospital ER. When we arrived, we were checked in immediately and saw a doctor within 20 mins, a wait time which was accurately posted outside of the building and on the website. After talking with the doctor, my girlfriend was given a comprehensive array of tests before being diagnosed and treated. The staff was excellent in their timeliness and attention to detail when it came to taking care of my girlfriend while she was in pain. Overall, would highly recommend for a late night emergency.
We have been in the emergency room waiting room for two hours. We’re not able to find out when we will be seen. They finally put us in a room, but we’ve been in here for 45 minutes with no doctor. I realize they’re busy, But they need more staff. There’s nobody at the front desk, we couldn’t find a wheelchair so that we could leave, and we can’t even find out the status of whether anybody is going to pay any attention to us.
Compared to Maryland hospitals this one was amazing. Very small wait at the front for me it took around 30 minutes of wait which is way better than the 8 hours I was quoted at the Maryland hospitals. The staff was very friendly. Understanding and got to work quickly. The best part was that even though they didn’t have rooms instead of just keeping you on hold they got the tests started and my work up going. Plus they sat me in a comfy couch while I waited in the front. And while being seen they where quick where normally it takes between 4 to 8 hours once inside this took at max 2 hours. The staff continually checked and made sure that I was doing alright. The IV was inserted effortlessly and painlessly where in other hospitals I end up with plenty of pain. At the end they took time to throughly explain the findings and what the game plan is going forward. They took time to answer questions and at the end I left without questions and feeling at ease. Now their were a lot of people complaining inside and I get it because there was a bit of delay getting something’s done but hey that’s part of a hospital visit since most hospitals tend to be busy. So I give them the benefit of the doubt and people just have to allow some time. The co-pay was cheaper then most hospitals in Maryland and overall the experience was just way better. Some staff told me they actually moved from Maryland hospitals to VA hospitals due to poor management here In Maryland. Great job to that hospital. They are a small drive away but one I wouldn’t mind going to for urgent issues that aren’t life threatening. For that unfortunately I will still need to see local hospitals and just deal with their bad service. I’m pleased with the service I got at this hospital. Very well done.
The wait was minimal, the staff was outstanding. The RN, who wrapped my temporary sling, caste, and splint was superb. She was better than the doctor's office. She informed me she had been out of nursing school for a year. She was my blessing. Her knowledge, skills, and abilities were professional with effective and efficient nursing service.
Top notch care from the most amazing professionals. Chest pain is scary and life altering. Choosing Reston Hospital was the best decision I made. Thank you to every employee that helped me on my path to wellness.
I am not sure if Reston Emergency is trying a new ER service, I would not recommend this location. For more than three trips to this location helping neighbors and the same services process. All patients wait in the reception area for hours, they get called in then out to reception area. Most of the ER rooms/beds are empty, it's new McDonald's drive through services.
I've had the hiccups for 3 days and my chest hurts. I sat in a room about an hour. I had to leave that place and know one even asked me to sign discharge papers. Now I'm at home with chest hurting and the hiccups. Don't go there if you're not feeling well go to the 7-11yiuk get better service
