Dr. Kelly-Ann McDonald is a native of St. Thomas, Jamaica, and has earned her Bachelors of Science degree in Health and Exercise Science from the University of Maryland Eastern Shore. She then pursued and earned her Doctor of Chiropractic degree from Palmer College of Chiropractic Florida. Currently Dr. McDonald is a Maximized Living chiropractor and practices independently at Charlotte Health Center in Charlotte, NC.
Over the years Dr. McDonald has traveled around the world increasing her skills as well as fulfilling her lifelong passion to assist others in achieving maximum health. Dr. McDonald has a strong passion for serving her community and for reaching those underserved populations who may have given up on the chance of good health long ago. She has been to Australia, Fiji, St. Vincent, Bequia, Trinidad and Jamaica assisting with both medical and chiropractic mission trips to unleash the healing potential of people around the world. She has always had a thirst for knowledge and is constantly taking courses to perfect her craft and increase her knowledge base. She prides herself on ushering her patients to optimal health through specific chiropractic care and by educating them on the essentials of true health. She is always looking at ways to educate her communities, to empower them with knowledge of how to achieve a healthy life and the benefits of chiropractic care.
She is certified in Applied Kinesiology, Spinal Correction, Nutrition, Graston Technique and has extensive training in Acupuncture, Neuroemotional Technique, and Sacro-Occipital technique. Utilizing her vast knowledge of these various techniques she successfully provides the best care for her patients. In continuing her passion of helping her communities, Dr. McDonald volunteers with various homeless organizations, women and youth groups and churches. Recognizing the power of her voice and the call to change the world for better, Dr. McDonald often spreads light on her community through speaking engagements at many churches and community groups both in the US and Jamaica. She believes that health is a God-given birthright and that diseases manifested in this finite world are no match against The Lord who possesses and provides infinite healing power.
Dr. Kelly-Ann McDonald has made it her personal mission to educate the world on what true health is, deliver quality health care and to advance the work of Maximized Living. Dr. McDonald is a member of the America Chiropractic Association, the Independent Chiropractic Association, North Carolina Chiropractic Association and the American Black Chiropractic Association.
