Had an emergency laser surgery, by Dr Dadgostar, MS, PHD, on a Sunday.  The good  Dr could have passed me over, and I would have taken a chance of having a retinal detachment,  I was having the symptoms. Dr Dadgostar had me come in that day, he found the tear, and repaired it, on a Sunday! So I absolutely recommend the Retina Partners.  And a GREAT  Thanks to you  Dr Dadgostar!

I had two emergency retina surgeries performed by Dr Sanfilippo for detached retinas. The last one he diagnosed my eye late morning and somehow the office was able to get me checked into the hospital and have it surgically repaired by early that evening. Dr Sanfilippo and the entire staff at their office have done whatever it takes to save my vision. I can’t recommend them highly enough.

Went for 2nd opinion.  The staff and Dr. Sanfilippo was great.  Doctor explain in detail, use visual, and answer question.

Almost five months ago, after suddenly experiencing a blank area in my vision in my right eye, I was diagnosed with a partially detached retina and referred to Dr. Dadgostar at the Valencia office of The Retina Partners. I was, of course, absolutely terrified by this diagnosis and thought the next step was likely to be blindness in that eye. When I arrived at the The Retina Partners office I immediately began to experience a calming and highly caring staff, including Julie who was the first to welcome me. Within a few minutes I had the pleasure of meeting Dr. Dadgostar. I was immediately impressed by him. Two days later I underwent a retina reattachement surgery with him and now a few months later my retina is fully reattached with no deficits. He absolutely worked a miracle. Needless to say, I am sold on The Retina Partners and would highly recommend them to anyone experiencing problems like this. Truly great people who know what they are doing! I am forever grateful.

Took a relative here for an appointment. The appointment was at 12 noon. Due  to Covid you must call from your car and check in. We arrived at 11:50am and called up 4 times in 15 minutes. Nobody answered the phone... So I took my elderly relative up to the third floor to see what the issue was. There was one dude in the waiting room and a lady sitting behind the desk. The lady said she must have been on the phone, which I could easily tell was a lie. She took our number and sent us back down to our car. Which I did not appreciate at all. Another 40 minutes pass with no phone call. So I return to the third floor and text my relative to tell them to call the office. I waited outside of the door. Sure enough desk lady picks up the phone and hangs it up!!! So I bring my realitave back up to have her ask in a snarky tone if they called us. Knowing full well she didn't call us. So we just sit in their little waiting room. Discussing among ourselfs how this is unprofessional and they shouldn't make appointments if they don't intend on keeping them. Then the lady interjected herself into our conversation with the same snarky tone telling us we could discuss it with them, whoever them is, in the back. She was finally seen at 1pm. The appointment took 5 entire minutes. They had an elderly lady wait an entire hour for a five minute appointment. While coping an attitude and lying!

Was told to wait outside even though I was there as the medical advocate of an 86 yr. old man. Same thing happened at their other address.... disappointing. Customer service is not important here.  Thank you. I appreciate the response. I completely understand limited space, especially impacted by covid. The irritation comes from the approach. Had I been asked and not sternly informed, I would have been happy to oblige.

Dr Engstrom and his staff are great. Professional, thorough, friendly and informative. A report of the examination are shared with the referring physician and a copy is provided for yourself before you leave.

My son was diagnosed by our eye doctor on Monday with 3 hemorrhages in his right eye. Referred by California Retina Consultants, we arrived in hopes that he would be helped here. We had all the necessary paperwork, he was completely healthy; and yet three professionals stood there In masks saying they couldn’t help him because they didn’t have a thermometer to take his temperature first. What?? and why doesn’t a doctor’s office have a thermometer??  Morally and ethically wrong turning away a child with 3 hemorrhages in his eye, possibly about to lose his vision. I was furious and embarrassed for them showing my son how selfish and thoughtless grownups can be. What have we become? Shameful.
