I came to this ER because I was having severe difficulty breathing and it was the closest to us. I was worried it was an anaphylactic food allergy, as the difficulty breathing was getting worse. I signed in at the ER but there were no staff anywhere. I was worried about my throat closing, so I called the operator and asked to speak to the ER. I explained what was happening and the ER staff said there weren’t staff at the desk because their beds were full and essentially said “sorry, we’ll try and see if we can get someone out soon.” I feel like a throat closing warrants intervention, but I guess not… I ended up leaving to get care elsewhere. I’m not one to post reviews ever, but I work in healthcare and this was a very scary experience for an ER.
I went to Retreat hospital emergency room with a split open wound on my head. No wait was seen quickly br Dr Brown who was incredible. Professional and great bedside mnneentmedischooteach you that in med school bedside manner is important. Teach that in medical tesch
Only waited for about 10mins, staff was very friendly and attentive, Dr Derek Thackston resolved my issue quickly and professionally.
This er is a joke the refused me care before evaluating or anything. When I ask for discharge papers they where quick to change up. Still no help the nurse apparently didn’t want to do his job so he rammed a butterfly needle in my hand to draw blood. Then quickly injected a Toradol shot in my muscle to purposely make it burn worse and hurt. I had been here one time before and the doctor was super nice and helpful. Not this time. However all hospitals suck the doctors just don’t care anymore about people it’s all about money and how many they can get in and out.
Total bill $2,200 for 3 pills. Not recommend unless you are sky high RICH. I had allergy that night so I went there, common allergy skin itch no swallow serious stuff. They charge me over $500 for nurse came out to touch my skin for a second. And after I paid off, I got another $1600 bill for treatment. No equipment, no X-ray, maximum the only can count equipment was their gloves. I paid total $2200 for 2or3 pills plus they poke my skin for couple second. WOW!
2,000 for an IV for 30 minutes. Actually insane. The lowest payment plan they had was 75$ a month. I am an 18 year old college student. I got an IV. Now I have this medical debt and collectors calling me on top of my 3 digit student loans so thank you retreat ER.
Terrible hospital had me In there for hour in a room Docter never came in there in I never got threated
I was able to watch an entire movie while waiting for a doctor to see me. Terribly slow even when it’s not busy.
Baby if you want to live. Don’t go here. Simple as that.
