My mother in law needed glasses. It had been a long time since her last exam. We saw Dr Darr and he was amazing! He took time to go over the extra part of the exam with the picture of behind the eye and explained everything so we would understand. The sweet lady that helped us get her glasses was very patient. The store was clean and stocked with a nice frame selection. She is excited about her new glasses and we are thankful for this store.

Dr. Darr and staff are super. They worked with me to transition into multi focal contacts miraculous things! and progressive glasses. When I found out that I did better with a slightly stronger contact, I walked in...the doc saw me right away...adjusted the script...and the office staff ordered up corrected lenses. Great group! This is my eye doctor from now on.

I was very disappointed. I went in after two years wanting to get a full work up. The doctor did not go over my results with me, I had to specifically ask, and did not take time trying to find the right prescription. I was in and out and 5 minuets. Not what you want from an eye doctor. I will not be going back. I wish I had not wasted my insurance on them and had gone to someone who really cared and wanted to help me and not just wanted money.

I am so disappointed with the treatment that was given at this location. The 2 front desk ladies had a horrible attitude the day i had gotten seen with my sister. Also the lady who does the measuring with the glasses gave horrible customer service she had told my sister that they’re was a certain price her insurance would cover and then proceeded to ask if she still wanted to get something that was in the price range of what the insurance covers. So my sister had told her to give her about 5 mins to look around and by the time my sister was done looking we turned around and see that she was already attending another client which is very unorganized to do so. I am 19 and i have bcbs tenncare select i had reached out to my insurance twice just to double make sure that they cover polycarbonate glasses and so which they do till i am the age of 21 so Mrs.Shellie had told me that my insurance changed and i would not be covered. The miscommunication this clinic carries is so unprofessional. This has been the worst experience i have ever received within the eye-care industry.

Went to Visonworks for the first time and wasn't disappointed. Catherine helped me from the start to finish. I don't have anything to say bad about the whole experience. This was the first time I have been to a optometrist and not walked away feeling like I was taken advantage of. Did I mention Catherine is a rock star!!  Kenny

My exam and glasses were ordered in store on August 19. It is now September 30 and no glasses. I’ve received 3 emails asking how I like my new glasses but no way to answer the questions and inform them I have not received either pair of glasses. Furthermore every time I call the store, no one answers and eventually they hang up on me. I literally have no idea what’s going on except I paid them several hundred dollars.

Had an appointment at Visionworks in Mount Juliet today.  The employees were less than welcoming and seemed to annoyed that they were busy.  I asked that I would like to be able to get glasses today and was told “the machine is down” but I could go to West Nashville or Murfreesboro and get them today. I asked that they call Murfreesboro and expect to arrive in 45 mins to an hour. I arrived to be told it would be 7-10 days which was the original time to wait.  I wasted my time and chose to not do business with any Visionworks going forward. I ordered from Warby Parker and will receive in 7-10 days.

Monique, Dr. Snead, and Shellie were wonderful to me and my family. We were in and out. Monique, Dr. Snead, and Shellie have wonderful customer service. I hope Visionworks appreciates these three employees. They deserve raises.

I have had LOTS of eye exams at different places over the years. The exam by Dr. Thomas Snead at Visionworks was the worst I have ever had. He was cocky and rude and the exam was rushed. I will not be using his prescription because I am not confident it is accurate.

They were out of my Rx for trial contacts lens, said they would order a pair. After not hearing anything I stopped in and they didn't get ordered. They said they would order them again but didn't again! Then they gave me a pair that were the wrong Rx no multifocal, Finally thought I got it all straightened out and ordered my 12 month supply. Today I got called back that they placed the order without the multifocal and that I needed to pay $148 on top of what I already paid.  Never going back! I cancelled the order and got them cheaper thru Walgreens, they had a 30% off coupon.
