Reyna Foods

About

Latin grocery store that makes fresh tortillas on site. We have manufactured our own tortilla chips since 1991 and make many fresh salsas to go with them.

Description

Reyna Foods Inc., a Mexican wholesale and retail food company, was established in 1987 in Pittsburgh, PA. With such a huge demand for basic Mexican ingredients, Reyna Foods set out to fill that need.

Located in the heart of Pittsburgh’s historical “Strip District”, Reyna Foods operates the first and only Mexican grocery in the Pittsburgh area.

Be sure to check out Casa Reyna. It is a fully-authentic Mexican restaurant, located in the lower level of Reyna Foods in the Strip District. Watch fresh, hot tortillas come right off the line and onto your plate. The menu is exciting! The dishes are authentic, fresh and delicious. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable, and the atmosphere is so inviting. Come in for dinner and stay for the extensive list of tequilas and homemade artisan Mexican chocolate ice cream.

Also, be sure to visit our Taqueria, located on the sidewalk in front of Reyna Foods! It provides an awesome afternoon experience and an endless assortment of good eats, including Pollo Tacos, Barbacoa Tacos, Carne Asada Tacos, and Tacos Al Pastor.

Thank you for taking time to browse our Facebook page and to learn more about all the wonderful things we have to offer. See you soon.

Their spicy black bean dip, oh my godddd! I literally bought two tubs last time I went in. I also bought 4 bags of tortilla chips because they are that good. The person ringing me up asked if I'm having a party and I said nope, all for me. Party of one. No shame! We laughed about self care days and sipping margaritas with a face mask on. She was super friendly and awesome. Anyway, I love this place and will go back every time I visit the Strip! Gotta get me them chips and dips!!
I loved their customized species here, you get to find almost all the essentials needed for cooking delicious meals here. Staff are so helpful. I love that the make their own made masala! And you find things you don’t get to see at other place.
This place had the largest selection of hot sauces I've ever seen. Very friendly staff. Fresh, on-site made tortillas, and a variety of house made foods. Only thing missing for me personally was fresh hot foods to go.
When you're in the Strip District, THIS is the place for all your Mexican supplies for dinner. They have the biggest selection of hot sauces and freshly made-right-in-the-store tortillas, too. Then there's the selection of locally made salsas and such, tortilla presses, tortilla servers, pinatas, salsa dishes and whatever else you might need for the perfect fiesta at home. You'll have a ball searching the nooks and crannies of the store for everything you need.
Mexican grocery, makes their own tortillas and sells bulk dried peppers and such. I miss the restaurant that used to be in the basement.
The fresh tortillas are fabulous. We always buy a few packs when we are in. The store is well stocked with a variety of items. Goya section is larger than most stores that carry this line of products. They also carry a good selection of hot sauces. The store could be a bit neater but no big deal.
Had the wonderful experience of meeting the owners daughter. She couldn't have been more knowledgeable about the products and any more kind. Terrific person and great selection!
Taco Stand on Saturdays out front is a quick, cheap, and great lunch. Eat right there at picnic tables out front.
The two ladies working there were very friendly and nice. The burritos were terrific, enjoyed getting some spices couldn't find in grocery stories. Hope to go back before I leave Pittsburgh again.
Great shop! They have all the essentials for Mexican cuisine. The homemade chips are really good and we picked up some masa for making our own corn taco shells and it worked out perfectly.
