Founded in 1987, Reyna Foods Inc. is the oldest Mexican Grocery Store in Pittsburgh!
Reyna Foods Inc., a Mexican wholesale and retail food company established in 1987 in Pittsburgh, PA by Nic DiCio. Nic's mother gave him his appreciation for fine cuisine. When she moved to Pittsburgh from Texas she had to send home for the authentic quality ingredients needed to prepare authentic Mexican and Latin American foods. Nic saw a demand for these items in Pittsbugh and set out to fill that need. Located in the heart of Pittsburgh's historical "Strip District", Reyna Foods operates the oldest Latin American and Caribbean grocery in the Pittsburgh area.
Casa Reyna Restaurante Mexicano is just downstairs from Reyna Foods, and opened mid 2013. Nic DiCio's other business ventures include making fresh corn and flour tortillas and tortilla chips, and the annual Pepper Farm Festival in the North Hills.
