This place is AWFUL. My sister died by neglect from her husband on the 22nd. We are having it investigated. The police department chose to have her body sent to this awful place. We explained to them what was going on and that we wanted her removed from there so we can have her funeral at our family church. They acted like they were going to type up a form to have the husband sign all rights away to her family, the form they typed up instead insisted her body had to be left at ridgelawn for the most over priced funeral I have ever seen. They weren’t even going to give us time for our out of town family to get in town. I tried talking to a woman who claimed to be the owner and she was the absolute rudest person I have ever spoken to. She even hung up on me! This place it awful and an absolute rip off. DO NOT have your family members sent here. Unfortunately we had no choice.
If I could give o stars I would. They are the rudest people from the secretary to that useless funeral director Avis. The service for my father was a disgrace. Avis was unfriendly. Second rate operation for sure. I have to pay for death certificates for my own father and I’m opening an estate for him. My father prepaid his and my mothers funeral. No way in hell will my mother be in that pathetic place. I am reporting them to the state. I also want a refund on her prepaid service. My elderly relatives were disgusted with the service. The director hid out wasn’t friendly at all. Horrible place for your loved ones.
Mr. Williams, I have been trying to contact you for the last four days. I have made several attempts and documented the times ,duration and dates of my calls. I have spoken with four members of your staff in detail with message to pass on to you. I have a video of the cemetery service provided to my mother for your viewing if you need to view my family concerns. I have contacted nine other funeral service in my area to view the video for their comments. All nine was disgust with the service, but most importantly embarrass of your disrespect to the deceased and it’s mourners. Which all agreed that respect is their number one priority. I have also contacted Managing Editor,Kerry Erickson with your local news. I will like to come to terms to a satisfactory agreement on the poor disrespectful service of my mom burial service on April 2021. I hope to hear from you so we can resolve this issue in a more private matter. Thank you. UPDATE: 1/19/23 I am saddened to see that the poor practices has continues even after two years. The death of my mother was the most saddest day in my life. The second saddest day in my life was my mom’s funeral service. Judy Martino 7 months ago this day look to have experienced similar issues as I did 2 years ago even the same individuals. Judy I am so sorry you had to experience that . I know how you feel. I JUST BURRIED MY SON THERE AND I HAVE NO COMPLAINTS AT ALL IF I CALL THEY RETIURN MY PHONE CALL I HAVE AN ISSUSE AND THEY GET TO IT AND THE GROUND KEEPERS ARE NICE I HAVE NOTHING BAD TO SAY ABOUT THEM AT ALL EVERYONE IS NOT THE SAME AT ALL AND IM PRETTY SURE NOT EVERYONE IS THERE FROM BEFORE AT ALL THEY HAVE TREATED ME AND MY FAMILY WITH LOVE AND RESPESCT TO BE HONEST I WILL CONTIUNE TO DO BUSSNIESS WITH THEM
I buried my momma in this grave yard the staff at the burial rushed out during the ceremony , yes it was hot. But they had no compassion at all . Was not happy with their service
When my grandfather died, these people were very inconsiderate. They rushed my family out of the cemetery, and they spoiled the last moments that we had with him. Also, they went weeks passed the deadline that they had to put his headstone on his grave. And last but not lease, the most recent of the situations, I paid them $100 to plant flowers at my grandfathers grave, and they did the worst job possible. They tore all the sod out in front of it, and planted about 6 cheap flowers in front of it that were dying and that they probably bought from Walmart. I would never recommend this cemetery or funeral home. These people act like they just do not care for anyone, especially the dead.
They are very inconsiderate to loves that are resting in there Cemetery .they drive or plants ,head stones they throw your flowers away and when called they do nothing but blame it on visitors and said they have the right to dictate what is on top the grounds we just pay for the under ground I would not recommend it Cemetery for anyone's love one .VERY DISRESPECTFUL PLACE !!! They should be ashamed of there family own business the way its ran I have pictures of the ran or stuff
WARNING: My parents were visiting the cemetery on Sunday, and while they had their backs turned at my grandmother's grave, a man entered their vehicle and stole my mom's purse and drove off in a white Yukon. LOCK YOUR VEHICLE AND BE AWARE OF YOUR SURROUNDINGS AT THIS CEMETERY, THEY DO NOT HAVE CAMERAS AND DO NOT MONITOR THE GROUNDS.
Very disrespectful. Run their machines right over top of other headstones damaging items left by graveside dont matter what it is. if it's in their way they go right over top of it and leave the damage behind
I hate it that their closed on the weekends like half the people are busy on weeks days and don’t even live close that’s messed up man.
