We joined our cousins at the Ridgewood, which they chose by location, but mostly by the fabulous reviews. We were lucky enough to have Sara as our waitress. She made wonderful recommendations and was very attentive! The food was terrific!! We especially enjoyed the Walleye and the New York strip. It's a cozy atmosphere as well! We hope to be back again soon and plan to bring the family to join us!!!
Fantastic! Great service and the food was WAY beyond expectations! So good! Reasonable prices, down home atmosphere. I'm sad I don't live nearby because I would 100% become a regular. Thanks for being awesome!
First time my husband had been there. It was my birthday. The service was great! The food was outstanding! This is a place that is tucked in an unusual place. Not among all the shops and other restaurants. It's decorated beautifully.Food: 5/5
I'm immunosuppressed and the Ridgewood has a wonderful, comfortable patio that's well ventilated. Our regular waitress, Megan, is absolutely fantastic, can't say enough about her! The food is very good, the corn beef hash and French Twist particularly stand out and the prices are very reasonable. This has become a weekly spot for my family.
My peach jalapeño porkchop 2 was huge. I could only hit half of it. Mac and cheese, hot and creamy. So good. My wife's burger was overcooked, but edible. The Friday night atmosphere was lively and a little loud. Our waitress was friendly and attentive, despite being extremely busy. Recommended for a good meal at moderate prices. Parking: Plenty of parking.
Server was great. Food was good. Hash browns need put on the grill to be hot and crispy. Spinach omelet delicious. A little pricey for breakfast.
Someone had told me about this hidden gem, so we went to check it out. Our waitress Sarah sorry if spelled wrong was amazing. She guided us to some great choices and it did not disappoint. Food was amazing, serve was amazing and will be back again. This is a must go to place in Springfield!!
Service was okay! Thier food is definitely over priced. And the Chilli sauce tasted like it was from a can. My piece of chicken was super thin and small. Will not return. Also didn't take the money out of my bank till a wk later.
Our son is a Freshman at Wittenberg and we wanted to find a spot for a large-ish group of us to come and take him out for his birthday. He's on the track team, so practices run late and we needed find a place that would accommodate 8 of us at 7:45 on a Tuesday night. I was able to make a reservation through Google Assistant, and when we arrived everything was ready and we were met with extremely friendly and attentive service! I got the ultimate cobb salad and it was excellent, and everyone at the table enjoyed their entrees which included the salmon, burgers, chicken carbonera, ribs, and shrimp and grits. They happened to be out of the chicken and waffles, though, so we'll gladly make a return trip to try that!
I always look for local establishments when I travel and Ridgewood didn't disappoint. Kind, quick service, despite bring 90 mind before closing. Tasty food, too! Will definitely go back.
