I don’t receive texts for my own prescriptions even though I’m signed up. I received a text 2/8 that my son’s prescription refill was received too early and would be filled 2/9. I didn’t receive any notifications after that. His prescription doesn’t even show in my account online. I called today and was told they are out of his medication and won’t have any until Monday. I should have received a text or call or something notifying me as soon as they couldn’t fill it. Now I am trying to find medicine for my son at a different Rite Aid because the stores won’t communicate. You can’t transfer prescriptions to another store so I also have to hope the doctor will send it over to a new store in time before hey close for the weekend. 3 months in a row my sons refill was late because you had the wrong D.E.A. # for the doctor, but I had to do ALL of the calling to Rite Aid and back to the doctors, back and forth 3 months in a row, begging for someone to figure it out. Finally someone had the brains to call the doctor’s office and fix it.
Had an asthma attack got a inhailer prescribed to me Went to pick it up the pharmacist was Awful not understanding Tried claim in my doctor didn't Send the script over So I called the doctor's office to find out that they did send the script over they then try to refuse to give me my inhaler they Were extremely insensitive to my situation And then got mad when I copped an attitude back. just very poor customer service. You don't play with someone's inhaler when they depend on it to help them breathe. Jesse I believe that was his name glasses black t-shirt super JERK but nice to know you don't believe in God however that didn't give you the right to down me because I do!!!!
An employee by the name of Damian is an amazing employee with the best customer service skills anyone could ask for. He is always so friendly and helpful with everything.
So my prescription for Cephalexin was sent to the Rite Aid Pharmacy in Laconia last night 5/2/22 by the emergency room at Lakes Region General Hospital. Obviously it was too late to pick it up so we had to wait until today and because my husband needed my car for work I decided to have him pick it up on the way home. Just to be safe I decided to call the pharmacy because I never received a confirmation that my prescription was filled which I usually receive a text for. The guy at the pharmacy told me they never received anything from the hospital. I called the hospital up and spoke to the woman in the ER and she put me on hold and ended up calling the pharmacy and confirmed with someone that yes they did receive my prescription and it was already filled. So I messaged my husband and confirm that the guy at the counter obviously lied to me because he didn't know what the heck he was talking about and they did have my meds so he could go down and pick up my medication. My husband gets down there and is told not only from a guy that they have working at the pharmacy but he ended up trying to confirm with somebody else and they apparently didn't check properly because they again told my husband they never received anything from the hospital. They ended up having to call the hospital from the pharmacy and the person in the emergency room gave them the same exact information that they did before when they confirmed that they did have my prescription and lo and behold look Laconia Rite Aid did have my medication. I have a bad kidney infection making me super sick right now and if left untreated it could cause sepsis and become fatal. I was pretty angry over all of it. I'm sorry but if you have somebody that is obviously not exactly mentally capable of working at your pharmacy or is not properly trained you need to either get rid of them or you need to properly train them so that they don't sit there and lie to customers that are in dire need of their medication to survive. It's fine if you need a prescription filled or need beauty products and basic needs. Typical drug store
This Rite Aid provides the right aid. They offer a friendly and hassle free service and are willing to suggest even unprompted advice.
Outstanding, friendly service at the pharmacy four times in a row! This has just become my one stop shop for pharma stuff!
I was the first one today. I needed the cold & sinus behind the pharmacy counter. The male pharmacist, arrived @ 8am. As he was opening the metal partition, he said, it’s going to be a few minutes. all 3 cash draws were on the waiting table outside the pharmacy. I’m sure this isn’t a good thing. A cashier comes in @ 8:10 to help me. The entire time the phone is ringing and he is huffing and puffing and shaking his head. He tells her, “ I arrived at 8 because of the roads.” You sir are a grown man. As a responsible people, we apparently not you plan accordingly and it may include being mindful of the weather here in the northeast. I don’t know if there’s hope for you unless the “higher ups” decide to put this store on the closing LIST. Unemployment isn’t the answer. Time to grow up lad.
Not only does the phone not get answered, they close earlier than what is posted online and HIPPA was violated with my teen. I have used Rite aid for years, never had a problem. I work in healthcare and know all to well the shortage issues we are all experiencing, we are call to be professionals. No one should leave your store embarrassed or crying. Ordinarily, I don't speak up, but people have forgotten how to think of others.
I work at a dental office in Belmont and recently needed to call in an RX for a patient. I tried multiple times to reach a person, the phone just kept ringing. I finally gave up and left a voicemail requesting the RX be filled. came in the next day and attempted to call again around 10:30am just to make sure that they had received the message and the RX was getting processed for the patient in need and AGAIN was not able to get through to a person and was on hold for over 15 minutes before giving up. I know that we are all understaffed right now but it is important that providers are able to confirm that pharmacy has received the RX and patient will be able to get what they need in a timely manner. I'm seriously disappointed and I hope that the patient will be able to get the RX asap.
