River Birch Lodge

Husband took me for for our anniversary and it was an overall great experience. Staff was friendly and we were seated instantly, the complimentary bread and butter was very good, warm soft bread and salty butter was a great pair. I ordered the French dip panini and my husband the duck. My French dip was amazing, the horseradish sauce is a MUST on your sandwich, it definitely makes a difference and I would definitely reorder this, my fries were a little bit cold but that’s okay. My husbands dish looked great and tasted even better, he finished his whole meal. I would definitely be back and will recommend this place. We also only paid 54$ not including tip for our meal. Very affordable if you ask me.

What a great place in Winston-Salem. I went to lunch with my wife and another couple and everyone loved their food and drinks. The menu is very broad featuring items such as duck to normal dishes like hamburger. The staff was excellent. Can't wait to go back. Vegetarian options: They have all veggie dishes on the menu

Only took pictures of the first course! This location never disappoints me!! Today we were on a pre-anniversay celebration and we tried to have all of the specials on the board when we walked in.... They sold the Strawberry Creme Brulee before we could to that course but the meatloaf was fantastic and we had Mac&Cheese, Brussel Sprouts, Loaded Potato Soup, Collard Greens, Smashed Sweet Potatoes, and the Pesto Chicken pizza without the chicken with Pelegrino, Coffee, and Lemonade. Every bite was excellent! The mgr new our faces and greeted us politely and professionally when we came in! The server was attentive and so was the host! Overall a fantastic experience for a nice lunch !

The staff was warm and personable. Our group was there to support a co worker during her illness and River Birch personnel was very accommodating. I highly recommend River Birch Lodge to all who love quality and graciousness.Food: 5/5

I got taken here for my birthday by my best friend. She had been before and said it was wonderful. We went for Sunday brunch. It was wonderful. Not only did I have a delicious salmon patty Benedict, but they also brought me a piece of cake for dessert. They also had good hot tea which for me is always a bonus!Food: 5/5

We just ordered a cheese pizza & a cheesesteak pizza for carry out. This is NOT pizza! The cheese pizza has zero sauce, the crust is non existent but worst of all, there is CHEDDAR cheese on the cheese pizza!?? This is at best cheesy crackers! The cheesesteak pizza sounded good, but it was just ok, both are EXTREMELY greasy! I will never be back!

First timer. Forgot my servers name, but she was very cool and attentive. She helped me decide on the shrimp & grits option. It was perfect. Only slight complaint was that it was so noisy in the main dine-in area, at some points it was hard to hear her or even myself. But overall, it was a really nice experience

My friend and I had a 6:30 pm reservation on a Tuesday. We probably didn't need the reservation, but I am still glad we did. Our table was ready when we arrived. Our server was polite, friendly, and professional. She also offered insights on dessert, and this was very helpful. She and several other staff checked on us frequently during our meal. The restaurant was clean and seating was spacious. The venue is a tad noisy, so quiet conversation is a challenge! The outdoor seating area might be quieter. Our food was delicious. We enjoyed half-price wine, Mountain Trout, and Lodge Pasta with grilled chicken, cheesecake with chocolate sauce, and cherry cobbler. Everything was cooked perfectly.
