At River Daze Cafe we create quality, hand-crafted food featuring made-to-order sandwiches on our freshly baked, house-made breads. You can also enjoy small-plate breakfasts, organic soups and salads, and scratch-made treats for the sweet tooth. We proudly serve 10-speed coffee, Blue Bus kombucha and a variety of northwest microbrews on draft or in bottles to go. We are committed to supporting our local food community and using high-quality and organic ingredients.

Had brunch before heading back home. Was able to walk in and order right away and find a table. Note that you take a number after ordering and they will bring your food to you. This place does ask that you bus your own table. The waffle was sour dough and was okay. Wife wasn't a fan of it. I had the turkey melt. It was pretty good but really small for $13 and no side. Great place if you're looking for a quick bite between shopping or just stopping by on a road trip.

This place is great! I love all of the organic, house made food they offer. Sandwiches are bomb!!! Vegetarian options make it a great stop for everyone. Must try when passing through Hood River! Wish we had a sandwich shop like theirs back home. As a side note, do not order an Italian cream soda. No one knew how to properly make them. Tasted like creamy soda water with no flavor. Not a big enough deal to take away a star though.
Absolutely love River Daze Cafe! I'm visiting for the week and had to return several times, it's thst good! I had the Daizy Sandwich - housemade English muffin with egg, arugula, locally grown sprouts, and avocado. Amazing! Local teas are excellent as well. 100% recommend River Daze!Food: 5/5
I saw a post about these sandwiches being $17! That is just flat out UNTRUE! I posted the menu Reasonably priced good cafe food. The staff was pleasant, the food was good and over all this place has great options. All I have to say is don’t believe the 1 star lies from some Googlers. It really saddens me when people try to hurt locally run small businesses. This is a great spot.
My mom and I fell in love with this place, we went 2 days in a row! Their food is soo good, everything made from scratch in house including the bread, yum! The coffee was so good, their homemade whipped cream was literally the best we've ever had. It smells amazing inside so it's hard to not get food when you're there. Soup of the day was clam chowder pictured and it was divine. We will definitely be back when we're in town, highly recommended!
What a great little hip dinner! Can’t even describe the sandwich I got but it was a vegan option with pickled carrots, onions, cucumbers, jalapeños, Mayo and cooked tofu on the best toasted bread I’ve had in the US! Wife got the avocado toast w spouts and eggs on a yummy toasted bread. Service was fantastic! Two in a roll for great food in this cool town! Will be back
Incredible brunch spot. And we were able to walk in, order, and grab a table right away. We had friends go to another place in town at the same time and they had an hour wait. The breakfast sandwich and waffles were so good we had to go back and order another of each.Food: 5/5
Got the blueberry cheesecake and it was perfect. Not too rich, and the berries were juicy and sweet. Got a hot sandwich. The turkey and Brie and oh baby! It's like a fancy Thanskgiving dinner on perfectly crunch on the outside/soft on the inside bread. Dietary restrictions: I saw several gluten free bakery items.
I love the food here. It’s delicious, healthy and they have great gluten free options!! Their team is always super friendly and helpful whenever I order online or get to enjoy the food dining in. Definitely one of my go-to favorites in Hood River!
