Stepping back into my childhood sitting on the seawall and just relaxing and taking in all in! Awesome memories!!! Also with a beautiful moon.
Loved coming by to see all of the eagles. We were there about an hour and saw a total of 7. There were 5 adults and 2 adolescents. While there, we were also able to see 2 adults land on a patch of ice and sit for a few minutes before they took flight to catch a fish! If you are an eagle or wildlife lover, this is a perfect place to come to see some majestic, beautiful eagles!
Terrible experience. First time going to the town of Stony Point. We were looking forward to exploring the town and patronizing restaurants. Did not realize sign little playground said “residents only”. The male who works at the park approached me and my toddler son very aggressively and said “residents only!” No need to be rude, or aggressive. If you are thinking of visiting Stony Point from other surrounding towns or New Jersey, don’t. It’s very much like the Deep South, many Trump flags and lack of diversity. Would not recommend for tourism. Very unfortunate. Will continue to post to all my friends on social media.
This is where the Stony Music Fest happens. Bands, food, and community. Good times, overlooking the Hudson River, with many talented performing artists, and charitable giving. Many different musical genres. And restaurant right across the street from the festival.
Shhhh - don't spoil the secret! This little gem of a park is one of the best parts of being a Stony Point resident. A new concrete pad was poured in April 2022 - we'll have to wait to see what will be added.
Stony Point Sea Wall is an Observation area at one of the Widest Points of the Hudson River and is a Good place for Fishing or Just Hanging Out. There is a Great Mexican Restaurant, and Several Marina's there. Just be Respectful of the Residents who live there Year Round by Keeping the Noise Down, and Don't Litter...
Very clean park, benches in great shape. Bathroom facilities clean. Parking tight. Need permit for parties and need to be town resident. They do a great job keep non residents out.
I love to come to events here. The views are superb. However, if you come here other times with no events, the blemishes in the park show. Could be much better maintained.
Super relax park... for sit and rest...
Pretty little park with great views of the Hudson. I sometimes launch my kayak from here. There is also a fishing pier, playset, picnic tables, toilets, etc.
