Come join us on the beach or pool, or fish off the many docks that dot the riverside. Why not launch your boat and tour one of the most picturesque places on the Upper Hudson River.

What a find! We stayed at the Willow cabin for a magical 4 days and it was everything my family needed to unplug and just... be a family. Modern life is stressful- work, kids running in so many different directions to activities, never-ending PTA emails; a few days a Camp Hudson Pines was just what we needed. I definitely recommend a stay here, especially if you have young kids! The view was amazing, early morning kayaking while the sun rose was breathtaking, my kids loved playing in the little beach area and the Camp is a very convenient location to some great surrounding areas. Even better, there's a small, but surprisingly well-stocked grocery store a 4 minute drive from the camp. Our family has a lot of food sensitivities and allergies between the 6 of us gluten free, dairy free, allergies to some fruits and it was such a life-saver to be able to find familiar options. Some great restaurants options in Saratoga Springs, also was thrilled to find some fabulous options that met my families needs loved the white bean pizza at 9 Miles East Farm! Anyway, the new owners for this campground are fantastic. All in all I 100% recommend a stay at Camp Hudson Pines especially if you are looking for an opportunity to connect with your family!
The owners were extremely nice and invited us down for live music while we were there. They helped us maneuver our rig in and out. Beautiful spot right off the Hudson. We put our 16ft fishskiff sea eagle boat in the Hudson. Great time!!
I have been a seasonal renter for 3 years now and we love it here. This past holiday weekend we had a blast many families getting together playing games enjoying the pool and doing what camping is all about making memories. The new owners are very family oriented and have been doing their best with making upgrades for the better. It has been nice that many of the traditions have transferred over to the Hudson Pines! We are thankful to be a part of this family.
Stayed at Pine Cabin for Americade and it was great! Beds are very comfortable with wonderfully warm covers, had a Keurig and all other small appliances needed plus fridge and stove, which we didn't use. Nice place to eat outside watching the river. The bathroom is tiny, but manageable. Had a fire in the fireplace each night. They are doing a great job since they just bought this campground recently and we would definitely stay again! Thank you for taking good care of us! Enjoyed walking the campground too.
What a beautiful campsite. The cabin we stayed in was clean and spacious. The view was spectacular! Definitely would come here again.
Being right on the Hudson River was awesome. The rooms were clean and nice. We loved our experience here!Rooms: 5/5
The assistance provided by the hosts made this experience bearable. The hosts are not the owners. This is NOT a big-rig friendly location. We have a 40-foot fifth wheel that technically "fit" into a back-up spot. But it was a severely tight fit width wise. The roads inside the campground are barely wide enough for a vehicle. It's so wooded that, if I had a diesel pusher, I'd avoid this campground all together. If your unit is less than 30 feet, you might be okay. It's a very rustic location and the sites aren't particularly well maintained. The frontage on the Hudson River is very small. And although the website and Google calls it "Camp Hudson Pines," all of the signage and the RV version of Garmin reflects the name "River Road Campground." It makes finding the location a little difficult.
We rented the Balsam Pune Cabin this past weekend. We were in town visiting family for a graduation. The cabin was perfect for what we needed and the owners are lovely and very accommodating. We've stayed here before in a tent under the previous owners. While this trip was spent primarily with family, we visit the area often and will definitely book here again for a real camping trip!
Great place to stay. Great people to be around. Dogs ate welcome.
So far it's so quiet, everybody is so nice! And no issues with people speeding so the kids can relax and play! Most everybody here looks out for everyones kids. Neighbors were bringing food over and were so sweet. Love that there's a boat launch on site, easy to meet your man as soon as he comes back from fishing! Theres wifi for when we're trying to get the kids to relax.. so much to do and explore. We really enjoyed our weekend. Would highly recommend!!
