Very nice campground. The location was a perfect distance from the attractions in Saratoga. It was nice and quiet and dark at night when we went to bed and we felt very safe. The owner Matt was extremely accommodating. Nearby activities: SPAC is about 20 minutes away, as is Saratoga Main Street.
Great new rustic venue for weddings or other gatherings. Absolutely beautiful for year round events. We did not camp but used the giant barn. Check it out.Rooms: 5/5
Overall a very nice campground. It’s small and very quiet in relation to any other campgrounds we’ve stayed at. Great proximity to Saratoga and Lake George.
Nicely maintained campground with oversized sites for RV's. Loved how our site and what seems to be all sites back up to nicely wooded area which adds to the privacy aspect of this quiet, and beautifully rustic campground. My wife and I spent 10 days at Rustic Barn Campground and enjoyed every aspect of our stay at the campground as well as the surrounding areas that have boundless things to do and see. The owner, Matt, was very accommodating and easily assessable during our time there. We are looking forward to coming back and hopefully with our grown kids and grandchildren. Kevin C.
Absolutely loved it here lots of seasonal campers but everyone is super nice. We ended up extending our stay twice and they were so accommodating. The barn and pond are absolutely gorgeous and a very relaxing and quiet environment. Also, one of the cheapest places we have found in the area. Definitely will be returning
A little out of town but a worthwhile trip. Excellent place for a wedding or family reunion.Rooms: 5/5
Wonderful time! Beautiful campground. Matt the owner was very accommodating, we had a youth group from church and Matt was kind enough to provide a large campsite, kayaks, and life preservers. One of our students even caught and released small and large mouthed bass. Price was excellent as well. Thank you! Will go back in the future.
Matt's campground is awesome. I can see why people get married here, it's just lovely. Our group of cyclists enjoyed the firepit and the lovely pavilion overlooking the pond. The showers were hot and bathrooms were clean. The tent camping made it feel like we had the place to ourselves. We could hear the stream and the RVs were further up the road, which created a nice, private atmosphere! Thanks Matt!
Attractive little camp ground. Quiet, clean, shaded, and Matt was very pleasant and helpful. Like many private campgrounds, most lots are full season campers. No hot water at 8a on women's side. My only complaint is the price. It was $50 for one night on 8/13/21. A reasonable fee would earn them 5 stars.
Such a lovely and relaxing stay. Matt owner was very friendly. Such great amenities perfect size pond to swim & kayak— water was pretty clear, & the perfect temperature., has fire pit for bonfires, trail, etc. Slept in the loft— space was great and comfy. Already planning our next visit. Thanks again!!Rooms: 5/5
